so for some reason the crests keep showing up in variation on all the cavalry. I haven't been able to fix it myself so far as my modding knowledge is minimal.

last update was not allowing game to launch. it looks like postprocess was not renamed. i renamed it and it worked fine afterwards. just thought i'd let you know

Great Mod idea! But, I think it realistic to remember that although TW games strive for historical accuracy, it is still a game; and yes, this means it is a fantasy! "hopefully not the final one though!" CA strives for historical accuracy in order to retain the appeciative consumer, but their "ulltimate goal" is to catch the eye of gamers who have never seen anything like the TW series, and will therefore be impressed with the units for their graphical eye candy effect. CA does this out of passion, & Sega does it for the money. The end results is a compromise between the two that will hopefully catch the eye of "new" consumers who are tired of COD, Skyrim, Dota 2 etc., etc.

hmm, ok i will see if it is possible without change other cavalry units and if i like this change after all.

Hello it's good direction of work, but i think you slitely overdone with it. For example you had to leave the chest armor for carthaginian aristocratic cav, bactrian aristocratic and seleucid royal cav. But you removed almost for all cavalery. I hope you will make it.

Ok, but then maybe they use it seleucids and ptolemaioi but not Macedonians in Macedonia.

beleave me it is,cause i am full of hystorical-battle books and i strongly insist that they were existing,mostly on noble horses but there ar reports that the companion cav,used em after going to asia..so we are 100% accurate ;)

Maybe there is a way to add leopard hide in the horses but it is not so important for now. It is not 100% historical.

ahhahah yeaa its totaly awsome game,but still i cant forgive CA cause especially macedonian Companions' horses had a classic leopard thessalian hide and u cant take this away!!!its like giveing spartans a scutarii shield xD :P

I dont know why CA decided too add in horses this armor and helmets, these helmets are for Hippodrome and not for battle. This is completly unhistorical, but i forgive CA for the rest of the game because is wonderful!!!

plz guys rate this mod up,cause CA is totaly useless to understand that centurion horses ar not hystoricaly accurate,and we dont play final fantasy :p

Mod updated: No more Centurion horses for eastern heavy cavalry and also i fixed aspis companion cavalry and mercenary campanian cavalry.

Finally no helmets on every damn pony. Than you!

heroicxsoulz@ i called this mod No_armour_horses because i didnt take only the centurion helmet from horses but and their armour near the legs and because later to take and this armour with helmet and from other cavalry units. For now i changed only hellenic cavalry, maybe i take it also later from parthians and carthaginians, i will see... If i change something i will make announcement.

hobbit75@ I dont know why aspis companion cavalry still has armour but personally i believe that it is nice for this unit. But the reason probably is that maybe i have forgot one column to change or this unit match with another unit or i dont know. But personally i like this unit with this armour.
