italian headgears 0, 2 and 3
french headgear 1
french clothing 1 (one recoloured with the coat-of-arms of castille printed onto them and another one recoloured in the pink colour matching the portrait from Juan I de Castilla)
I think the portuguese would need a proper separated clothing mod with no spanish heraldry, given it would break this mod's ironman compatibility
Yeah, it would be nice to have a more dynamic child portrait system. Perhaps something similar to the adult portrait one with three distinct 'stages' (baby/toddler - child - teen etc.). Unfortunately I'm almost certain that something like that is hard-coded and cannot be modded.
It's very possible that there is a required DLC that I forgot to add to the list, though everything seems to be covered after skimming through the mod files.
Not sure if you've tried this, but it's usually a good idea to disable all mods (not just other portrait ones) except the one you're having issues with and, if it works on its own, slowly re-enable them one by one so you can find the conflict.
Only other thing I can suggest is, since it isn't uncommon for files to be corrupted when downloading from the workshop, try resubscribing or download the non-Steam version [www.dropbox.com] and install it manually.
Hope this helps!
I've decided to replace the Italian beards with a slightly modified variant of the Muslim ones added in Holy Fury. They're of a better quality and generally sit better on the face. Plus, from the brief time I've tested them, they don't seem to look out of place for the culture/religion.
Regarding late-game Iberian clothing, it depends on whether or not I can use pre-existing clothing assets to make them. I'm pretty good at editing/recolouring but I'm less proficient at making items from scratch.
I'll do a bit of digging to find some more reference images and I'll see if I can put something together that looks decent. Hopefully I can utilise assets from other western European clothing sets to come up with something that looks historically authentic and somewhat unique.
Any chance of late-game clothing for iberians? You could base it on the paintings of "La colección de retratos de reyes del Ayuntamiento de León" and the paintings from "Quinta da regaleira", not sure about how historically accurate they are, though.
