Thanks for making the vanilla Vet better though. Vanilla Vet seems like it's for RP an elderly vet lol

Why does the Combat medic vet class use a Geneva Convention based load out. It'd be better if medic had M4/M16 (depending on timeline) and Combat Engineer had a shotgun; Also military medics are highly trained the first aid trait seems a bit low; Combat Engineers points for mechanics could be used for something due to realistically Combat engineers don't normally deal with vehicles, more so building & demolitions; Giving the Marksman a Ghillie suit would make it the Sniper vet class due to regular designated marksman not using all the same equipment as the rest of the squad just better rifle or scope for longer distance engagements. Still a good mod, just some of my IRL experience details i think that could improve.

Sorry for immediate second comment, I forgot I had a question. Lol. In the process of the eventual update....is it perhaps possible to add a 4th option that is in line with some form of CQC or Stealth based? My brain failed me on proper examples so I hope this makes sense

One of my favorite mods since I have many different Veteran builds, thank you so much for this. Can't wait for the update for B42. I did read the comments and see IRL is busy, I understand that comes first and whatever you're dealing with you got this! Thank you again

A heads up so people dont get scared if it happens.
If in sandbox options you decide to unlock all clothings and spawn with either a holster or double holster, your sidearm will be automatically equipped onto the holster which for some reason will trigger the game into thinking there was an error with the hotbar itself, nothing actually breaks, you receive all your items and the error has no effect in gameplay at all is just a false positive caused by the game.

Hope it helped anyone that might've encountered this error :)

Hey just a heads up! This mod has an issue with Inventory Tetris. It loads and no errors show, but Inventory Tetris hides the auto-equipped gear added by this mod and you can't access the items at all.

mechanic 3, metalworking 3, electrical 2, aiming 1, reloading 1, weapon either m9 or 12 gauge, and toolbox w/welding mask.

@Radio Demon I just had this same issue and for some reason right clicking and using the walk to command removed the weapon from my hand then i was able to use things normally as well as take the gun off my back

Is there a way to change the weapon the engineer starts off with? I use Arsenal 26 for the weapons and it loads me in with a weapon that requires a speed loader but the class doesn't recognize that it needs a speed loader. So i get a useless gun in the beginning

i feel like you can also say that for other professions tho? Balance is usually more enticing so for the sake of everybody not picking a variant of veteran shouldn't there be some tradeoff just like all the others? just a thought lol

And it also goes the other way, could also just add more global points if you want a rambo playthrough so idk why you're coming after those two so hard. Everybody usually using the same metabuilds anyway so jus let people play how they wanna play LMAO

LMAO, what's with the losers wanting negative starting points? Like just pick negative traits and don't use the points dumbass, why do you have to impose overweight, unfit, clumsy, feeble, deaf traits to everyone. Not every vet IRL is a wreck, op vets is actually more realistic because IRL they literally are much more capable of surviving compared to some untrained citizen.

I'm having an issue in MP that when you die (whether your guy had these vet professions or not) you cant chose them again, even if you saved the build

Hi, i'm just leaving this comment here, the mod itself is great, but me and my friends are having trouble getting this to work in multiplayer, if anyone could offer any insight into how to get this mod to work in MP it would be greatly appreciated.

@Puddings agreed. On top of being objectively way better than vanilla vet, which is already good, they give no negative points while the vanilla vet does give some of the highest negative points in the vanilla game. There would be no reason to choose any other profession over these. To keep other classes relevant, this mod should either slap a huge negative points on the classes or they should be substantially nerfed.

Awesome love running as a vet and glad there isn't a huge negative to them since being a vet shouldn't make everyone overweight or the such to take the profession. Thank you and take my points!!!!:spiffo:

Points should get you -12 or something. 0 is way too low for a powerful occupation

Well if you wanted to combine everything as making them special forces you would call it "JSOC"
Joint Special Operations Command Id call the profession a JSOC operator i believe some guy did that before but the mod got wiped. The Character would be desensitized the character would have high shooting skill first aid skill reloading pretty high these guys are really fit some some huge athletic boost and some type of crafting skill because alot of those guys have special sapper training

This works on my dedicated MP server as of build 41.68. Wish there was a way to adjust the starting equipment though. the engineer starts with a lot of explosives.
