Updated with Prototech! Decided to keep just one version.

Nice
WardenWolf  [author] 10 Dec, 2024 @ 3:01pm
I've got a full Prototech refit in the works, though it will be a separate upload. I figured out how get a full set of 3 Prototech thrusters and still have the reactor room look nice, but now I have to relocate and redo a number of the timer blocks, which are core to so many of the cool features of this ship. You'll also get a 3000km jump range out of the deal, which is just obscene. There is, as always, a sacrifice, and in this case it comes in the way of armor because there's not enough room for armor behind those huge thrusters and I also had to reroute the small hydrogen ones. But I imagine those huge things take a LOT to destroy.
Cooldude101011 22 Oct, 2024 @ 12:51am
Agreed. My refits would be mostly relating to redundancy, armour, structural integrity (like adding a central armoured spine or framework), etc while keeping the interior.

Are they posted on mod.io?
WardenWolf  [author] 20 Oct, 2024 @ 4:59pm
One rule I always have during these refits: respect the spirit and intent of the original design. The overall design and purpose should stay true to the original and, if a room was used for one thing in JD Horx's original, it should keep that same purpose unless it just doesn't work or it's a duplicate and the design is missing something else (the second medbay here became the mess hall). Obviously, extreme updates like this are interpretive to some degree, but both historical and newer works are used to influence how things are done.

Thanks a ton

I plan to post most of this stuff to mod.io in the near future.
Cooldude101011 17 Oct, 2024 @ 4:40am
Would it be possible to get this on mod . io? As I think I’d like to try my own modifications to the Titan-class hull.

Update coming soon. Expect various enhancements, including nearly doubled jump range courtesy of the new Prototech Jump Drives. It WILL require the previous DLC, though, if not the newest one; the corridor and bay window blocks came in useful.

I don't have the DLC for this, think we can get a non DLC one? Please?
WardenWolf  [author] 4 Sep, 2023 @ 5:13am
New update dropped. Pics updated. Lots of nice little upgrades here and there courtesy of Deco Pack 3.

Thanks. I still can't believe I managed to stuff 8 railguns into this thing. Funny thing is, there was a sign in the original one begging Keen to give us new weapons, actually mentioning a railgun. Welp, he got his wish. Check out the Cerberus Mk. IV. I just finished a major update of it, updating my previous upload from last year. Reinforced conveyors change EVERYTHING. Being able to use conveyors as walls and floors without having to hide them or use heavy armor plates to reinforce them fixes so much.

I am genuinely impressed. I was amazed by the original design, but this version looks astonishing and exemplary. Well done.
WardenWolf  [author] 20 Jul, 2023 @ 2:49am
Update July 20 2023: Very minor update integrating the new reinforced conveyors, full block air vents, and conveyor caps. It allowed me to fix some minor annoyances.
WardenWolf  [author] 3 Mar, 2022 @ 6:26pm
@Smokey-BC, I fixed the quickbar. Quickbar 3 from the left (primary) control seat will have the jump controls.
WardenWolf  [author] 3 Mar, 2022 @ 5:44pm
JD Horx did the original ship; I just did a refit / upgrade on it, copying JD Horx's newer asethetics. It falls short of a full gut and rebuild, although nothing was completely untouched. The room that is closest to original is the forward refinery area.

found it, wasn't set for toolbar config, thank you for the reply and the great ship!
Smokey 3 Mar, 2022 @ 5:25pm
yeah strangely only two are selectable and they have no jump option, I'm very confused lol
WardenWolf  [author] 3 Mar, 2022 @ 5:01pm
@Smokey-BC, you have to individually select a jump drive to put it on the quickbar. If you have a group selected, the Jump option disappears. There is a group named Jump Drive that is necessary to properly display it on the LCD.
Smokey 3 Mar, 2022 @ 4:51pm
This ship is amazing, but for some reason i can't get it to jump or even setup a button on toolbar to jump, there's just no option. Any thoughts? I really want to use this ship so bad and i just built it in survival lol

Thank you WardenWolf for the prompt response! Currently playing with a 25k pcu limit so not even close - haha! Would love to see the PCU listed on the ships you update though. Cheers! Subscribing anyway!
WardenWolf  [author] 19 Feb, 2022 @ 10:36pm
No subgrids. PCU is 55569. If that's too much, try the Cerberus Mk. IV, which is based on the Mk. III so similar size.
Beanbag 19 Feb, 2022 @ 10:14pm
Couple of questions for whoever might know, does this have multiple grids? And what is the PCU Total? - Thinking of giving it a try in a MP Survival server but have limits of course! Cheers and always loved IMDC ships, glad someone is updating them :)

Just when you think you're done with a massive project and release it, you start finding little things you somehow missed and start thinking of things you could have done better. The two rooms I really wasn't satisfied with, the Mess Hall and Medbay, are now fixed. Next time a game is buggy at launch, remember: the entire staff was likely experiencing project fatigue and just couldn't see the issues until they'd stepped away for a couple of days and come back with fresh eyes.
WardenWolf  [author] 17 Feb, 2022 @ 5:03pm
@a chill Sith Acolyte 66, the DLC's are absolutely needed. You COULD get away without Frostbite; you'd just lose the cargo gate and three bathroom doors. And if you ditched Wasteland you'd just need to replace the rear bridge windows with Window Walls and the crew quarters windows with something else. All the other DLC's are too heavily used, though, and removing them would gut the ship.
a chill Sith Acolyte 66 17 Feb, 2022 @ 4:41pm
also is the dlc needed?
a chill Sith Acolyte 66 17 Feb, 2022 @ 4:41pm
holy this rivals aci titans
WardenWolf  [author] 16 Feb, 2022 @ 10:05pm
Depends. I'm in communication with him to ensure I don't interfere with anything he's currently working on. I released a Condor and Osprey update recently, along with an update to the Cerberus. I probably don't have many more updates in the pipeline, except some ground vehicles and maybe a very old extinct design which may be revived in a new role.

Also, integrated the Salvo script with the railguns on the Titan.
♠ Zahltag ♠ 16 Feb, 2022 @ 7:10pm
interesting and nice to hear! Will you also update other ships of him in a similar manner?
WardenWolf  [author] 16 Feb, 2022 @ 11:23am
Now that Whip's Weapon Salvo script has been updated to support railguns, expect this to be integrated soon. The Titan was basically done at the time Warfare 2 dropped, as similar-sized modded weapons were used to simulate the upcoming Warfare 2 turrets and it was a simple matter of just swapping them out.
WardenWolf  [author] 16 Feb, 2022 @ 11:18am
Check out JD Horx's other stuff if you like it. His overall design of this ship is incredible, particularly having released over 5 years ago. The state of the game when it came out, though, meant that the performance impact of a ship this size was too great to actually use it or keep it in your world for very long; it basically caused massive lag back then. There were also no decoration blocks to flesh it out so he used alternatives which pointed to what he wanted to do. As long as the design is fundamentally sound and there is enough detail to imply what the author intended, it's possible to update it.

I made practically no external changes save for updating the thrusters and weaponry, and virtually all the interior rooms are where they were and serve the same overall role as before. It's all about interpretation, and figuring out what you can do given the space at hand.

Cool Ship
