Emmortael 2 Nov, 2014 @ 4:17pm
does this apply for the AI too?
Paidas Demetriou 24 Oct, 2014 @ 2:15pm
Just wants to make sure that all the effects you get as a player from your mod are also the same for all the factions.

I was thinking of a request mod but how i pm you? Cant find it...

Yes iam greek also...; -)
Phalangitis  [author] 24 Oct, 2014 @ 7:28am
i guess you are Greek? If yes thenme too..I can answer whatever you like but i am leaving my pc right now. Will be back later at night so post here pm me or whatever and i will get back to you.
On raiding the AI use it surprisingly a lot.It does not know what it does but you as the enemy you feel the consequenses..
Paidas Demetriou 24 Oct, 2014 @ 7:23am
First of all bravo for your sophisticated work, all your latest mods gives a unique and special depth in the game.
I would have done the question if the "costly wars" works also for all factions but i imagine no! I can not see how the AI will use the strategy of "raiding".

I wish if there were a mod that would reduce the unhistorical expansion factions of the game and supports more the historical simulation. Yes i know this is a game and not the history classroom but it has less fun if you go to Egypt in order to fight there the Gauls and Total war series success is mostly for its "history freak" attitude, so i don't think i am irrational to regard something like this.

Is it possible for some mod requests? Or is too much?
Anyway your work makes our pleasure sweet, so Εύγε for this and thank you.

Phalangitis  [author] 27 Sep, 2014 @ 8:01am

Amílcar Barca 27 Sep, 2014 @ 7:53am

Phalangitis  [author] 27 Sep, 2014 @ 6:44am

Amílcar Barca 26 Sep, 2014 @ 10:02pm
Hi, Phalangitis,

Your mod:

regions_attrition_universal any province army provincewide 0
regions_attrition_foreign province enemy army provincewide 0
regions_attrition_domestic province enemy army factionwide 0

Another mod:

regions_attrition_universal any province army provincewide 0
regions_attrition_foreign province enemy army provincewide 0
regions_attrition_domestic yours province army provincewide 0

If I remove the table from your mod, to avoid incompatibility, your mod work?

Thank you.
Amílcar Barca 21 Sep, 2014 @ 9:57am

Thanks for response. Did not notice that there were HC version of slave mod. Will use that one then. thx
Phalangitis  [author] 9 Jul, 2014 @ 1:48pm
no on purpose because there are 2 versions of the slave mod but it is adviced to use one of them because you will need the extra money
Jin- 9 Jul, 2014 @ 10:52am
Thanks, so i can disable this and use new one. Does it include slave mod also?
Phalangitis  [author] 9 Jul, 2014 @ 10:37am
yes but AI has varius bonuses so the weight is on your shoulders..In a few hours i will upload a new mod with many strategic changes that includes this one so keep an eye out for "strategic thinking" you may like that one also..
Jin- 9 Jul, 2014 @ 7:08am
Hi, interesting mod. Does it work also with the non player factions? So AI starts to lose money also?
Phalangitis  [author] 4 Jul, 2014 @ 12:49am
yes i know but there is not a way to include subcultures in cost reduction.Only main cultures and Sparta belong to the Greek culture as a whole.I have a mod though called historical accurarte Sparta and 300historical accurate Sparta (they have different style of hoplite phalanx in battle) in which the upkeep cost of Spartans is very very low to show their minimalistic way of life so as a result the increase in upkeep during wars is also less profound..
Sausage_Carius 3 Jul, 2014 @ 4:58pm
Could you include Sparta in the reduction of campaign expenses? They were also one of the few professional armies that, like Rome, used slaves to do harvests and other work surrounding the support of their military.
Twisted Monarchist 1 Jul, 2014 @ 12:26pm
This sounds cool. It would also make you fear another faction picking a fight with you while at war with someone else, cause the multiple fronts will eat into your finances.
Phalangitis  [author] 28 Jun, 2014 @ 1:15am
i am prepairing some goodies for you guys but havent succeded yet in all my objectives. Will need some more days of testing and will inform you here
Phalangitis  [author] 27 Jun, 2014 @ 9:41am
The cost reduction for campaign expenses for Rome is intergrated int the mod .Enjoy
jethoxha 27 Jun, 2014 @ 3:31am
I like modders who think strategics..nice work :)
Phalangitis  [author] 26 Jun, 2014 @ 9:27am

CMDR Herne 26 Jun, 2014 @ 3:19am
Nice one!
Caratacus 25 Jun, 2014 @ 3:06pm
A clever idea and an elegant solution - excellent work!
Wolfman (alive and kicking) 25 Jun, 2014 @ 12:49pm
another brilliant idea! thanks mate
Phalangitis  [author] 25 Jun, 2014 @ 9:36am
for all but AI has varius income bonuses so the difficulty falls mainly on the player
Ermanarich 25 Jun, 2014 @ 9:07am
Wow, very cool-and very historically reasonable.
Will this count for the player only or also for the AI?
kerrfox54 24 Jun, 2014 @ 5:47pm
Again - for the the 3rd time - nice work!
fedora.tip 24 Jun, 2014 @ 3:58pm

fedora.tip 24 Jun, 2014 @ 10:46am
Could you show some videos or pictures of these effects please?
Phalangitis  [author] 24 Jun, 2014 @ 9:01am
@Dion Great point and i was troubling with this part for a long time..You see i did not find a way to impose different penalties to each faction because the seasons are the same for all..I had 2 options one to remove this feature or keep it.I decided to keep it because profesional army that time was mainly Rome.(maaabey Macedon). The barbarians or the rest of Greek city states where on decline..
A couple of minutes ago though i had an idea that if it works will reduce the basic cost for Rome (not the seasonal effect) leading to a similar outcome.I cant wait to be back home from work to try it...
DionCaesar 24 Jun, 2014 @ 8:48am
The only comment I could make is that for professional armies, the 'summer is harvesting season and lack of farming hands increases costs more' doesn't apply. At the same time the logistics of winter campaigning are very valuable too. Except for that, it looks promising! Making war a venue for profit!
