No idea what the hell is going on, but with this mod I'm having Royal Spartans routed by Slingers( in melee), and units just walking through Pike Phalanxes

@ navox: No, this just increases the duration of the battles, but you need Ancient Combat or Para Bellum Combat below in the Mod Manager. Check the info in the description.

@ Big Brother: they shouldn´t fight till the last one. I´ll take a look.

Ave what's up bro, can you make a submod that makes the morale a little more realistic? It's not really fun when you have to fight down to the last man.

Awesome! I tested a custom battle with a Republican legion vs Macedonian phalanx army, and lasted 35 minutes with the bigger units activated and 40 units per army, while before it was around 15-20 minutes. Great work!

You need some skirmishers as screen to absorb the first volleys, and make some enemy casualties, if not your hoplites can die quickly despite the mod. Also the low level hoplites like the militias doesn´t have many chances against good infantry like principes, they can hold the line for long but will need a hammering unit in the enemy flank or rear to decide the fight in their favor.

But these mods are not compatible with other combat mods as I explain you in the other comments section.

I do have all ParaBellum mods. Could you maybe explain what this mod changes?

It requieres Para Bellum Combat mod or Para Bellum Collection to work.

Hi, it doesn't seem to do anything. My hoplites are still anihilated by ranged and by swords. My units lasted 2 minutes.
