Jack n'a qu'un oeil- Thanks for the feedback. You're assumptions are correct. I did make a large portion of this campaign before the quest tools were added to the Dungeon Maker. I made a change as per your initial notice and one section of the campaign should be more forgiving now. As for your issue with progression... The next part of the campaign can be accessed through another section of the Sadonia Sewers. Found in the same area as the Governor's Mansion. This section of sewers will lead you to a graveyard and some more baddies. Do be careful!

Well, it seems i'm kinda stuck now. After cleaning the gov estate, if i come back to the inn and speak with the dwarves, they keep telling me to investigate there. I feel like your module misses very much the quests and dialogues scripts. With only simple dialogues npc, there's no real tracking of what we do and become confusing sometimes.
It's a shame, even if i think you were a bit lazy on the writing, it's still good writing. I would have loved to see your scenario being deeper in details and using more of the tools the dm offers. But maybe you built it before the DM updates. Good try though

Hey, i'm currently trying your adventure. It's quite enjoyable so far. There's something i think you missed while testing your module though : In the sewers, while engaging with sewer ghouls and 2 flesh hulks, your hulks attack effects are poorly tuned. If a character misses his CON save, then he's one the floor for 1mn (10 rnds). I guess it was meant for 1 rnd only. You should check your custom monsters abilities

Jo Panda[QC] - There is a journal that you can retrieve from the Dwarfs' table at the inn which will tell you how to access the next area in the sewers using the 8 levers on the North and South end of the room.

I am stuck leaving the first map (Orebusts) , arrived in Sadonia / Sardonia. Browsed through the inn, sewers, I see a wall panel switch and 2 floor plates, and nothing unlocks. Help appreciated! :)

Not that I'm aware. I'm sorry this happened to you guys. When I updated the content there was a small increase in the file size. So my previous thought may be the culprit.

Ahhh, I suspect ours bugged out somehow then. After getting the 2nd key we didn't see a message (and as mentioned before it didn't update the journal even though we have the key in our inventory). I'm guessing there's no way to reset this portion of the campaign (ie: This Map) that you know of?

From what I can tell, there are no issues with the progression on my end. I will republish the content to see if maybe I forgot to update it the last time. All I can advise for those stuck in a similar spot is to make sure you're looting the bosses you encounter in those zones. After looting the two keys, a third boss will spawn after the message, "You just noticed the lava pools swell...". And that will lead you through to the next portion.

That's exactly where we are. We've killed Slog and Matra and obtained their keystones but we can't find The Lava Beast or The Gatefiend. Also, while we have her keystone, the journal has not updated to indicate that "The Temtress of Pain" has been completed.

As for the maps, we've cleared the entirety of the upper floor, on the lower floor we've cleared the first part and met and talked to Slink for whom we've used all dialogue options and obtained the ring of detect invisibility (which we are wearing in case there was something that we couldn't see). We can see that there is an area to the north we haven't been to but the only way we can see to access it is a locked door that says unable to open.

@dalamar - Sorry for the late reply. The door can be opened through other means than lockpicking. Just look a little closer in the entrance hallway using the "alt" hotkey for a normal keybinding setup.

Edgeta- Thanks for the feedback! I think you're referring to the Voczon's Hellscape bosses. There are four total, and you need their hearts to escape from Hell! I play-tested extensively as there are a number of interesting mechanics in there that took awhile to iron out. Keep searching through that area and backtrack. If you still cannot progress I'll message you a hint.

First of all GREAT campaign! Really nailed the feel of starting a low-key campaign that turned into more than we expected. Been playing with my brother on MP and we're as far as the part where we need to kill the lieutenants and get their hearts but we've been all over the two maps we could find and only found 2 of them . Is this not quite finished yet or are we missing something?

Currently playing through this with some friends.

This is an absolute beast of a campaign so far!

We were able to take out the first Bear boss, Old Osmond(?) AND the Lich Lt. at Level 1 back-to-back with no short rest in between (+the spiders and a badlands eagle)!! Granted we are playing on Explorer, but still. Had some good tactical planning and luck of the rolls and it's the best Level 1 I've ever had in any D&D or D&D adjacent game ever. Toe, you're an absolute madman for putting a backdoor to the Lich Lt. right where we start. I loved it.

The lore and naming conventions for everything are great. It shows the care put into this.

100% a Solasta module done right.

ccy-thanks for the feedback. Big mistake on my part! The section you entered with the fire spiders and lava area are part of next chapter in the campaign and are unfinished. I must have forgotten to unactivate a travel node when I updated the mod to the current patch. The sewer area does have some inaccessible areas and some well hidden loot. I don't believe I added any content that couldn't be accessed without a potion or spell though. I will also see about editing shopkeeper's to provide identify scrolls or offer the option to do it for you.

PeeHell- thanks for the feedback the switch puzzle can be difficult but you should be able to find some lore that will help you.

Thank for the content. Im in the sewer and i cant open the door to reach the end. Im trying the switch puzzle, every pressure plate and switch. Some switch are innacessible. or cant be pressed. im at lost.

A few feedback if you don't mind.
1. Some areas in the sewers can not be reached. Is that intended or am I missing something? I am the "collector" type of player that prefer to reach every corner and leave no "fog of war" in the map.
2. After the big fire spider fight(which I believe is unwinnable), 2 out of the 4 chests in the room can not be opened. Also, since I don't have anyone with "identity" in the team, the advanced items I just got can not be used.
3. The final volcano map is empty?

Oltex- I'm not sure what to do about the big wolf on the stairs, the fight is difficult but using the stairs as a bottleneck is intended to defeat them. There is a way to get your party back to the inn for a long rest, or use a short one, before the wolf encounter. The XP from the wolf encounter is tiny, I'll admit, but your level progression is also determined by the quests you complete and interaction with the NPCs/Environment. Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you're enjoying the campaign.

So far really like this content, well done. Couple comments. Just finished the sewers and ran into the wolves at the beginning of the manor and wow they were tough. Two attacks at +6 with advantage and lots of HP. Was at half spells from the previous encounter and took me three attempts to survive the encounter, even using the doorway to limit them to 2 at once and most of my healing potions. I noticed the wolves were still getting ADV on attack even with my primary tank (Battle Cleric) using dodge. Also, the whole encounter netted 87XP and it was probably the hardest fight so far. That seems WAY too little XP for that difficult of fight. Plus, the final wolf glitched and got stuck on the stairs so i was able to pick him off with ranged. Granted i probably couldn't have finished the encounter without that.

themason11- Thanks as always. Will fix the issue with the bureau. As for the broodmother, the spider queen's venom will be part of the next addition, as the broodmother is just a tease of what's to come. I've been wrapped up in Elden Ring so I haven't dedicated time to finishing the campaigm. I'm really glad you enjoy it though. I added you as an Easter Egg in Sadonia for all your help, I hope you found it.

Really enjoying the new content. You've done a great job. Will give more feedback when I'm through everything. Just about to face J in the graveyard. One minor bug - in the Inn in the central of the 3 rooms (next to the one opened by the key) there is a bureau with alchemical equipment on it and it is impossible to loot it - I'm guessing it might be the placement of the chair in front of it. Also, have dealt with the Broodmother and noticed that one of the recipes asks for venom of the Spider Queen. Should I have got that from that fight because it's not in my inventory and I can't find it anywhere? And I'm guessing the teleport from the bedroom pre Governor fight is intended, following the text everyone rushes downstairs maybe?

themason11, thanks for letting me know! I had changed the "campaign start" point for playtesting and obviously forgot to change it back. I can't believe you're the first to mention it. Seriously, thank you! The other note you mentioned is working as intended, just not at the right moment during the campaign. It should be playable now if you'd like to jump back in.

Made it out of the catacombs, activated the ladder exit by entering Lich room (bypassed the fight), fought through 2 spider fights and made it to the Orebusts. When I got there I had the 'thanks for your service and move on to Sadona' text come up and received 3x100GP and a 2500XP boost for each character (enough to level from 1 to 4) although I hadn't yet dealt with Oswald or the Lich. All enemies and traps still seem to be present on the first 2 maps.

Just started a new campaign and my level 1 characters spawned at the end point of the old adventure in the catacombs by the ladder in the room next to the Lich. The map seemed full of enemies as far as I got including the Lich. I like a challenge but was wondering if you really intended this?

The Second Chapter is here! During my playtesting the difficulty seemed to ramp up quite a lot towards the end of the new content so please ensure you have a well rounded party, and one that's leveled up as often as possible. Thanks for that. Made it through both times bypassing the switch and skill check. I do like the way you have to look a bit more carefully than usual in this adventure to find things. Even the way some of the loot is placed up against a wall or on a shelf in the catacombs so it doesn't show up so blatantly on a swift press of Alt. For me having to look that little bit more closely really added to my sense of immersion and satisfaction on finding something. Regarding the withered page I can't explain it, but for some reason it reads fine today. Since it was also working in my first playthrough I can only assume some weird problem my end, so no need to playtest for that.

themason11, thanks for the feedback! Yes, the "withered page" does have a note written on it and I'm not sure why you're unable to read it! The content is featured as a screenshot for the mod though if you're curious. I'll playtest it tonight and see if it's broken for some reason now. Also, "the button" behind the shelf is activated by the skill check next to it, or not, depending on your roll. But there is a failsafe inside that first area of the temple to get through the door otherwise.

Given it another playthrough since the update and enjoyed it again. The text after completing the bounty quest is a really helpful inclusion. Best of luck going forward with this and I'd recommend anyone giving it go. Starts with an expansive open outside area that leads on to a darker, more claustrophobic underground section. Some useful hidden loot, puzzles and alternate routes to the final boss. I've got a couple of questions: in the very first section of the catacombs before the locked door there is a 'withered page' inside a sarcophagus, there isn't an option to read anything and I was wondering if there was supposed to be any lore to read here? Also, to the right of the trapped door behind the skull shelf there is an unreachable button in the wall and I was wondering if that is meant to be there?

I did update a few lore instances and exit points to allow for a more guided experience and am currently working on the second chapter.
