@RakkoHug Most likely they both use an animation with the same name, so it's just using one over the other because as far as the game cares, it's the same animation
Can confirm there is an overwrite for the animations for certain teleport-like abilities, like that of the jet pack for Metion Battlesuit from Claus' Custodian mod. Iridar's Jet Pack mod is unaffected, but I believe that is because those are custom animations. Just a small visual thing.
Other than that, no other issues from my testing. Thanks again.

An example of what's going on is The Standalone edition for The Praetorians, which, while not compatible with the old mod, vastly overhauls and expands on the Praetorians and their design

@Verroak Krasha If you don't like the mod, don't install it, simple as that. The whole point of most of my mods is to make the game harder than it needs to be, in ways I like. 'Balance' was never the center of the design paradigm. Most of the mods are inherently unfair to the player, because they introduce stronger enemies, with little or no rewards to the player. If people like that, cool, if not, that''s fine by me.
Aside from that, there isn't any mod that exists so far that would require this particular mod as a dependency. If you want the mod to be different, many of its features can be configured, or you can literally take the code from this mod and make you own Ethereal Autopsy + Items mod. I won't mind if you do, anyone is free to do so.
A: The Teleport is not what damages your soldier, nor does it give your soldier a stat penalty.
B: The Second ability given by the Ethereal Crown, Sacrificial Power, which is essentially a hybrid of a Spark's Overdrive and the ability Serial, is why there are major drawbacks to the item.
On use, it gives you an additional action point, increases the amount of damage most weapons and most abilities do, and, for the rest of the turn, if the user kills an enemy, with almost any ability, it refunds you an action point. And it can still be used if you've run out of action points.
In the scenario that say, for example, a Templar was faced with 50 Advent Troopers with 9HP, and your Templar's Rend normally does 8 damage, your Templar could teleport to the enemies, activate Sacrificial Power, and kill every last one of them as long as they're in attack range.
