Ah, if you have all the plants (or if it thinks you already do), it will change to money. That's how the base game works with random order spawning one-time loot.
I am very out of touch with this mod (it's been 2 years) and it does sound like there's something wonky with your save, so I'm not sure I can really help.
You could join the discord and ask in the modding channel. They are very friendly peeps.

No. I'm running Prominence's mods, a couple of little tweaks, some class mods, your weapon's mod. Nothing that should interfere.

I did some testing though, and it seems like maybe something has just gone weird with my savegame? I think loot_plants is spawning just fine, but upon entering the room it turns into money because it thinks I've already got all the plants for some reason. Very strange.

For some reason plants and fossils aren't spawning for me. As far as I can tell, the room where they should be spawning, there's usually just a pile of money in the middle instead.

Thanks. Like I said earlier, I haven't touched this in a year, so I've forgotten how to do any modding. But I was quite proud of what I did at the time! Glad some people are still enjoying it.

If it's not causing a problem, ignore it. It may be because I had planned to have Galf appear later again but it didn't end up happening. It's definitely coming from this mod though, as that's my variable.

Say, are other players getting "No global formula modified_spGroveEnc found" in the upper left screen upon encountering Galf and his crew in the groves? I have a ton of mods so it may just be my configuration. I do have GrOverhaul just below the resource packs at the top of my mod list.

It's normal that "advanced" classes can appear early on because of the way the randomization works. What's important is that even if they have later classes early on, they'll still have earlier gear and stats that are appropriate to your level.

Hm; well I was still seeing bone, iron and steel gear a lot in about the 25th grove (that I had to find for Jasce for the Hand quest, one of the few I managed to miss having mapped 80% of the world by that point).

Do you think that was because I was skipping all the encounters? I remember seeing a possibly scripted battle with some dude who had sinister plans for a grove early on, but then never saw that party again.

Also, early on, I remember being really surprised that literally one of the earliest battles I saw in the first grove had an Ignis Knight and a Defiler in, where I was still in mostly basic classes (I geared up a bit before I came, everyone in steel from my initial trade routes, but not much XP from that of course).

Nevertheless, thanks for the mod, it was still interesting.

Hey Eharper, thanks for trying out the mod. I'll just respond briefly, for anyone who may be curious.
1) It is not technically possible to have "an individual grove stuck a specific colour scheme or theme" -- it can't work like that with how the groves are generated in game. Theoretically, a modder could go and create whole new dungeons that looked like groves, but that would be a different mod entirely.
2) As for seeing the same encounters, each grove pulls from a pool of possible encounters, with earlier encounters being phased out and later encounters being phased into the pool. For the first 5 groves (and your last 5 groves), the pools are smaller, so you may see more repeats. But even the same "battle" is different because the enemies will roll with different numbers, weapons, skills, and classes.
3) The earlier groves will indeed be lower level equipment, but once you get to the later groves, the enemies have higher level equip (ironice, for example).

Basically, after doing about 3 of these, I basically just popped stealth-sense on, sneaked all the through for research item, and snuck back, fighting only battles where it was impossible to sneak through. As you mention, since this was a full-mod playthrough, I had no need to fight for the XP as I was already swimming in it, and a vast majority of drops in the mod are bone armour and darts, with the occasional bullion in the hedge. I don't think you need to worry about breaking the bank on drops here, it's not like everyone's suddenly in Ironice.

There ARE some fun battle scenarios though, I did like most of these, even if I miss a basic 'fight 4 spide's type grove'.

Used in my most recent play-though; I actually have mixed feelings about it.

One thing I think REALLY should be a priority is making groves consistent and take into account where they are on the world map when they're generated. It's kind of jarring when the colour of the forest changes 5 times in the space of 5 screens. Right now, it's more like I'm always taking a gate to Tir Na Nog rather than exploring a grove. I think it would feel a lot better if an individual grove stuck a specific colour scheme or theme.

Right now, there are also quite a limited amount of encounters and templates as well; when you've seen about 4 groves, you've seen them all besides a few enemy changes.

Groves do not respawn. You can manually reset ALL groves, making it as if you had not discovered any. This means you would have to rediscover them all on the map, and that you'd start back at the "easy" first groves.
However, there is WAY more than enough exp now, as each grove adds many battles. You should not need to farm.

The short answer to this question is no, unfortunately not with this particular mod. It could be possible for a dedicated modder to use this mod to make a 2x2 version, but it would be a lot of behind the scenes work for tweaking the "math" that guides the randomized battles being selected.
It is outside the scope of what I'm doing, but it could in theory be done.
Hope you enjoy my mods all the same (and please give some upvotes if you do).

Also, just a reminder, you can also skip battles. You are not obliged to fight every single one.

I have another idea if you defeated him again with better gear and men and he escapes again and you go to another grove and the music grove song gets distorted slowly as you found out hes already dead by an elite necromancer you fight that elite necromancer as a boss battle and also zombie Galf and his zombie men. Rapid5 soundtrack from peritunes would be a fitting song. And Reeve would respond after you beat the necromancer: "Commodore So this galf finally really get what he deserved but i still feel bad that he was reanimated as an undead".That would be cool.

Could you atleast make a new scenario battle in the grove if you let Galf III run away and escape and you battle him again with better gear like Mithril and HIs New Men too.

The mod should be pretty stable, but if there is a conflict, I would be interested to find out more.
Also, make sure you have the correct load order:
KJ Resources - on top, always
GrOverhaul
Total Weapon Package

Those are all required and in that order.

Sorry if I'm sending msg in the wrong place, and also sorry for my english. I'm having problems with the mod, but I'm not sure if the problem is in the mod itself, or some conflict with another mod, but the error only happens when I enter some Grove. I didn't know where to look for help and unfortunately I don't understand anything about the codes. I took a picture of the error, but I don't know how to send it, would there be any way to send you the error image so that maybe you can help me?

Hello @Usuzumi. Thank you for your report. It was a very small problem specifically with my Resource Library and the interaction with this mod. It didn't seem to affect most people, but it should be fixed now!
I was missing a file but now everything should work (this mod, but also the rest: GroveAddon_FrostKissed, Elemental Disciples - Ice, GroveAddon_Herbalist, Elemental Disciples - Life).

I've updated my other mods, so if you re-subscribe to those, everything should be working fine. If there's another problem, please come find me on the Discord.

I found some error this mod. This mod standalone was not error.
but when i subscribe addon FrostKissed, Herbalist both, it doesn't work!
sadly, i use alternate Elemental Disciples - Life & Ice, it doesn't work either!
finally i solved this problem is do not use any addon mods.(GroveAddon_FrostKissed, Elemental Disciples - Ice, GroveAddon_Herbalist, Elemental Disciples - Life)

Update: I think I fixed it. Make sure you update this mod AND the KJ Resources library mod.

Out of curiosity, are you playing the beta? I've been out of the loop for awhile, but I think something has changed behind the scenes in how saves work and so now it should be faster. Not sure if that's the main branch or the beta for the moment though.
