Any word on whether this works still?
Solutos Lupus 17 Aug, 2024 @ 4:07am
Will this work with Gambo's compatch? Love both the mods and would love to have this one included
KingSkunk 31 Jul, 2024 @ 2:14pm
Still working perfectly fine, I recommend using the vanilla and piety fix for this.
Rough 26 Jul, 2024 @ 5:37pm
8600 subscribers, so I assume that even though this is behind a version or so, it is still working fine
Zo_Confuzled 21 Mar, 2024 @ 6:39am
Does anyone know if this is compatible with More Lifestyles? Or if it is possible to make a companion mod maybe?

Please update

does anyone else have this causing a problem with the maths involved in setting the correct modifier offset? Ive been playing around with trying to change the base_attribute, or offset_attribute modifiers in the mod files, but it hasnt been working in the way outlined above (with most att. being balanced around giving 0 maluses or buffs at attribute level 10). Instead it appears that the -10 offset to base attributes included in this mod is maybe being over ridden, or applied twice, so that everything is giving pretty severe maluses up to around 12-15 diplomacy/stewardship/etc. Am I the only one? It doesnt appear to be a mod conflict as I have taberna loaded last in my order and this still happens

you are editing the wrong file I can do whatever I want. I can give 1000% or any number you need to edit the tna_modifiers file
Bobibob 25 Aug, 2023 @ 5:00am
great mod !

@Generic same for me, i try to change on the tna_modifiers but it doesn't work, the game crashes
Generic 7 Aug, 2023 @ 3:26am
I like this mod, but it doesn't make sense to me that intrigue has no effect on scheme discovery chance but diplomacy does
CaliBlueBear 18 May, 2023 @ 7:53pm
Achievements compatible?
JurgenJuggernaut 18 May, 2023 @ 2:44pm

Updated for 1.9.

> Diplomacy now increases Travel Safety (with offset).
> Stewardship now increases Travel Speed (with offset).

Thanks Kaepora Gaebora, was just about to comment on that. A required submod for this and bad design in hindsight.
Kaepbora 25 Dec, 2022 @ 7:48am
Hey folks if you want this awesome mod without the large value of negative prestige/piety of characters leaving childhood, you may use this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2906654660
It defaults prestige and piety gain from attributes to vanilla value. Load after Taberna.
Даня 22 Dec, 2022 @ 1:57pm
@Brett if you want a quick fix for it than go to mod folder (steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2782791426\common\modifiers), open tna_modifiers file and delete second from the end string

"all children have negative prestige/piety (-300) upon reaching adulthood due to them having low diplomacy and learning as youths"

This, indeed, is a problem.

@idm: Do you have any iplans to tackle this?

Your mod is awesome otherwise!
rudy ☆ 16 Jul, 2022 @ 3:39pm
Perfect, thanks a bunch!
SDNW 15 Jul, 2022 @ 7:39pm
ya i was playing it with prince of darkness and was wondering i found out by studying an AI checking its stats
idm  [author] 15 Jul, 2022 @ 9:41am
Yes, the skill increase should apply to AI characters as well.
rudy ☆ 13 Jul, 2022 @ 6:39pm
I would also love to know if the skill increase applies to the AI as well!
SDNW 29 Jun, 2022 @ 9:57am

Updated for 1.6.

also learning should reduce the cultural reform cost and maybe the delay between cultural reforms if possible, since if your more knowledgeable about cultures you should be able to reform them easier, and martial could increase the amount of military power needed by a faction to pose a threat, since people will be less eager to revolt if they are going to fight a military genius, unless he is much weaker. stewardship giving a boost to dev growth would also be good, since good administration = more development across the realm (maybe .5% per point of stewardship).
firespark84 30 Mar, 2022 @ 5:02pm
maybe diplomacy should give more vassal limit, since a ruler with more charisma is able to make more vassals feel that their concerns are being listened to and just be able to manage more correspondence from a ton of subjects. would help for large empires to reduce the amount of king vassals you need, as well as help with the amount of vassals you need if you are on the verge of forming a kingdom or empire.
ZanaduKhan 25 Mar, 2022 @ 11:34pm
@mark Foxanard

or just turn off your other mods...:
[Ally GruntS]Adams L. Albert 25 Mar, 2022 @ 10:51pm
@Mark Foxanard That's cause you're playing it with other buff mod,bro...

It design for original game
Mark Foxanard 25 Mar, 2022 @ 12:06am
I played with your mod and I can write my opinion. As I understand it, you took 60 as the limit skill level, so already at the 60 skill level, a bonus of -100% is achieved to stress and man-at-arms maintenance, for example. Basically, this is a normal number for a vanilla game, where it is quite difficult to gain even 30 skill levels. But I'm used to playing with a whole bunch of mods and, in particular, those that give huge buffs to skills, sometimes they reach 100, as a result, when playing with your mod, I got such big bonuses that after forty years of the game I could already build up the whole world with buildings of the maximum level and have more than a hundred thousand a soldier. Therefore, in my opinion, buffs should be made a little smaller so that you can play more balanced with this mod

Are the attributes only changed or are new texts added, as if you need a translation if you don't play it in english?
Miko 23 Mar, 2022 @ 12:23pm
I love the idea hope you continue it
peequi 23 Mar, 2022 @ 11:56am
Interesting mod and I look forward to seeing it grow. My first thought is that this mod will make good rulers even more better than poor rulers, which I think from a historical and gameplay point of view makes sense. The extra points to Lifestyle Experience will make good rulers earn those perks much faster, even if it wasn't what their education focused on.
idm  [author] 22 Mar, 2022 @ 3:56pm
Yes, but I've left it off by default because it's somewhat out of scope for this mod.
Inferchron 22 Mar, 2022 @ 1:02pm
@idm I'm curious, do you play with the skill increase on?
Miko 21 Mar, 2022 @ 8:48pm
oh yes
RepealThe19th 21 Mar, 2022 @ 5:42pm
Ah, that makes more sense, hahahaha
idm  [author] 21 Mar, 2022 @ 5:41pm
The advantage increase from Martial is untouched by Taberna. It's only emphasized because it's part of the attribute and technically a modifier.
RepealThe19th 21 Mar, 2022 @ 5:35pm
Cool idea, will play with it on the next run and will report on balance and maybe other ideas.

Though I am curious as to why you decided to add Advantage to Martial, as Martial already just gives flat advantage, unless you wanted to essentially double everyone's advantage?
