This is with the most recent update to the game, but with all DLC deactivated, and with only this mod and UI Overhaul Dynamic active.
2: It has some interesting ideas for Civics/traditions/etc. Unfortuneately the ones for seperating it out for other games haven't been kept up to date.
- Choice of civics seems kinda' limited. I've literally not reformed my government for a third civics because they're all so meh given the state of my empire.
- The existence of tier 1 and 2 traditions implies a tier 3. If nothing else, this would make me feel like my choices actually matter; I've finished every single tradition, including ones that don't match my empire at all, because the alternative is not getting all the ascension perks.
- The low-power modifier is super annoying, especially because in some cases (e.g. ringworlds) there's literally no way to make it go away.
Anyway, great work, thanks for creating this!
@erik.vale Thanks for playing and the notes. I sadly don't have any ascension perks idea, but there are a lot of other ascension mods out there. I should find one I like and test/make compatible.
@MajorGeneralPike Yep those mods should be good. I posted vague ideas of what probable works but still need to dig in and test mainstream mods.
@everyone Yeah 1000 subs! I still want to update/polish this mod some more, but I am trying to give time for some feedback before I rock the boat.
From memory this effects Ethics, Civics, Crime, and then adds some modifiers to balance non-scaling tradition costs so you can actually finish the traditions (I had effectively 2.5 tradition worlds, finished them all by 2100 or 120 in) that might not go far enough with sprawling empires, and some polution/import costs that slow down the economy so that specialising as much as we can compared to AI's slows us down a little more.
I would like to point out though with the sheer number of traditions, due to no extra ascension perks being added, everyone swiftly grabs the same ascension perks.
