Few like palladium, bismuth and beryllium are not only extremely rare, but applied at things like automobiles and aeronautics, which aren't all that useful in Rimworld. Best I could recommend is drop pods requiring itty bitty of palladium (fuel rods), bismuth for smoke pops (fire detector) and beryllium for end-game ship building or advanced components.
good, so it's not just me? (And I wonder why I can't do anything without God Mode...)
I just wanted to show my support, so you know there are people actually very interested in this. =)
Good luck with school!
I play RimWorld not only as a story generator, but as a survival and strategy game as well. Organizing invasions, as well as implementing multi-stage grand plans in strategy games like Total War and Civilization is one of my favorite things to do. Party-based RPGs and tactical squad-based games are also some of my favorite genres.
RimWorld with the right mods scratches all of these itches for me at once, hence why I play it so damn much! Hence why I am pleading with you to make this mod a reality... eventually... when you have the time.
Tin, copper and bronze storage thingies (LWM Deep Storage) are GORGEOUS.
So something takes 40 steel to make, but it wants to include, i dont know, nickle, for batteries or something so it changes it to 30 steel, 10 nickle/lead.
or if thats too bloated, add some new component types that are made of the different metals and then do the same thing but just add the new components to the new recipes.
I'm just saying that a bismuth floor would be beautiful after it oxidizes into a delightful rainbow.
For real though, really nice mod, even if it's basically just inert metals to make stuffables out of. My only wish is that bismuth had colors like the reflections rather than the actual core color. Its such a pretty metal.
