@kevin I just tested "taking a quick job" with the International 9900i day cab and the dashboard portable navigator was added to the truck, so I was UNABLE to reproduce the error.

A couple of reasons it may not be working for you:

1) The GPS navigator is added to the truck at "creation" and the truck is created when you first take a quick job. So if you added this mod AFTER taking a quick job, the truck will not have the GPS.

2) This mod may be in conflict with another mod you are using, you could raise the priority of this mod, although if there is a conflict it will likely conflict the other way as well.

No GPS in International 9900i day cab on 1.52

Updated for 1.52 and Freightliner Cascadia 2019 changes. Freightliner Cascadia 2024 quick job trucks already include in dash GPS so no additional changes for the new truck. New mod versions is 1.52.1.

Updated for new Mack Pinnacle DLC, Added Portable Navigator GPS to Mack Pinnacle Day Cab and 48" Sleeper Quick Job Trucks, Removed support for ATS versions before 1.46, new mod versions is 1.51.2.

@Roboxkid2010, Yes it can be played in VR, SCS makes a VR version availble through the "betas", so it is not officially supported, but SCS keeps it up to date.

Fix for missing dashboard GPS in International Lonestar Day Cab. Added a portable navigator GPS to the truck.

Seems like SCS removed the dashboard GPS from the truck as part of the International truck update that was part of version 1.50.

Updated mod version to 1.50.2.

Sorry @steviewondergt I prefer not to include "mod" trucks in my mod.

Since I try to keep this mod up to date, I do not want to be dependent upon other mod trucks. It already takes some work on every release to check for changes in the "base" SCS trucks and update this mod. Being dependent on other mods would mean there is much more chance that this mod might "break" the truck configuration for those modded trucks over time.

If a "mod" truck includes a "quickjob" configuration -- it might be better ask the original mod author to include the portable navigator in the configuration for the quick job truck.

Updated for 1.49. The Mack Anthem quick job trucks had a change to configuration for the engine hood which has been updated.

Yes, it was showing red with the 1.48.5 update. So I changed the version back to 1.48 and it was working. I don't like using Beta's, so I clicked it back to the 1.48.5 version. Restarted ATS and now for some reason the mod is working fine.... Go figure..... Thank you for responding.

When you say the mod is incompatible, is the mod showing up RED?

If so, make sure that you own cabin accessories DLC. Also make sure that the cabin accessories DLC is ENABLED in steam properties for the game.

If it is a particular truck that is having problems, let me know which truck.

I haven't had any problems with 1.48.5 but I was waiting for 1.49 to update this mod. Since 1.49 beta is currently it testing and Kansas is coming out, we will probably get 1.49 before the end of the month.

The resent SCS update made this mod incompatable. Can you please update Duke Leto...

So I took a quick look at the GDC mod, it does a lot of changes, including changes to the GPS, so it might not work because I just use the base game DLC GPS -- I actually do not modify the GPS -- I just add it to the window. But since GDC modifies the GPS, the new GPS might dependent on some of the other parts in the GDC mod.

Sorry didn't respond earlier, this mod only supports quick jobs, if you are running 1.48 it has not been updated yet. My mod might have prolbems if another mod changes the trucks in some way or modifies that lower left position.

I will be updating this mod once 1.48 is released, which I suspect will be soon.

Hello again! After some testing, I have found out that it is the GDC Logistics Realistic Economy Mod that's causing the issue. No idea why it is, it's just that if I have that mod enabled, this mod doesn't work.

Hi! First of all amazing mod, been using this for a while now, but I've recently got back to ATS. I've created a new profile, and installed this mod, I got a job with both a Cascadia and Anthem both of them day cabs, the GPS itself is installed with the truck, but the screen doesn't work (it spawned it with it already off). I've tried pressing my "Infotainment Mode" button, nothing happens. Any ideas? Thanks!

The new volvo seems to have built in dashboard GPS, so no changes are needed for this mod.

Updated for 1.47, no real changes, just updated versions. (Note the changes for the W900 do not affect this mod because all the "quick job W900 trucks" have a built in GPS.)

Seems like the Western Star 5700XE already has built in GPS so no modifications are needed to install a portable navigator for quick jobs.

Small update for Freightliner for 1.46 (that I missed), also made the mod multiplayer (convoy) optional if the server allows optional mods for versions 1.45 & 1.46. (earlier versions of ATS do not support mp optional.)

Updated for 1.45, now supports 1.43, 1.44 & 1.45. There really is no differences for these versions.

The mod is updated and compatible for versions 1.43 and 1.44. You will only get a GPS navigator in quick job trucks -- trucks that you do not own -- and only the trucks listed above that do not have a built in GPS. If a truck is missing a GPS, let me know. Cabin Accessories is a required DLC for this mod.

Hmmm, it should work if you have the DLC. Are you running any mods that affect the trucks in the description?

I think the only thing that would make it "red" is if you do NOT own the cabin accessories DLC since that is what contains the portable navigator, it is a requirement for this mod.

What version/mods are you running?
