Hello!

Would like your permission to pack this mod into an modset for a unit. The mod itself is unlisted and isn't distributed outside the unit. I have a spreadsheet that will contain all the credit needed (links to the mod and everything required/additionally listed) contained in that document, along with a link to it in the readme.txt file. It'll also contain a list of the mods that are packed together in that file itself for ease of access. :)

I saw the Repacking/Reupload section of the description, and was making sure I had permission to use it for a unit as it was unlisted/private.

Vest and backpack contents dont show on loadout screen, at least in SP missions. Just the current weight value.
I have default Interface settings and it still happens with only BI and CBA

Could we get more information displayed on hover? Like armor and capacity of uniforms, vests and backbacks. Both on character and on ground/in cargo.

Sorry but doesn't work well, vest doesn't appear in the preview of the mission and there is thing that I can't actually do on this mod.

Hey,

This mod breaks changing AI inventory. It only shows you what they have in their uniform, the items in the vest and bag do not show, It does the weight bar being fill but no items.

This is in single-player when starting a mission, on the map screen, select team, select a team member, then "inventory", and you will see only the uniform contents can be seen

no, I mean Arma 3 campaign, on east wind, the mission death valley, when I edit my loadout and I run the mission, the bar will go up to the end of the screen but the mission won't load and I will be soft locked

One of the issues I had was some missions wouldn't start after finishing the briefing, it was because of this mod, any idea why? (singleplayer ofc)

Yes the bug in single player is known, a fix for this will be in the next update, just need to find time to finish the next update :)

Great mod! Why is the vanilla inventory view not like this...?
Just a thing I found that may be improved, is the loadout when starting a mission. If there are items in a vest or backpack (for both the player and the AI players), then I cannot see them, let alone remove them. Is this normal behaviour? Thanks in advance for checking!

I testet the script you postet and it's working fine for me.
I get a "Open IFAK" Menu and can convert the Items.
The Script uses CBA_fnc_addItemContextMenuOption what should have been fixed with the last update "24 Dec, 2023", over a year ago.

Have you tried only using Better Inventory + Ace for the Script?
Maybe another Mod is the culprit.
I think you got it right, but I'd rather ask, you don't have the first 7 lines of the script in your file i hope, because they are not marked as comments and the game will error the code.

@[Phönix] Xaneas actually in both, Workshop missions and East wind campaing. i have tried disabling all other mod's except CBA3 and yours and still can't edit my loadout, i mean i only can edit uniform loadout but vest and backpacks are block it :)

I have one problem with the mod; In singleplayer scenarios I only see the uniform inventory in the weapons pool in the briefing section before the scenario actually starts; It's useful to edit my loadout there before I jump into the action, maybe a fix would help!

This mod is what I would call stupid good. It's so good it's stupid that it's not default. If you're not using this mod you're really missing out on a better ArmA experience. :steamthumbsup:

Hi! I got your mod on our server, for some weapons it says they're not configured correctly and are invisible when in hand and cannot shoot... for weapons we do have CUP weapons mod for arma 2 weapons in arma 3.... could that be a issue? do we need to configure the weapons somewhere?

Hello. When moving stacks of items (20 or more), it can cause server to crash. This is especially prominent with 3x Headless Client (They won't crash) setup and bunch of mods.

Never heard of a problem with my mod that you can't equip a Uniform.
Remember that you can only equip Uniforms from the same faction you are in without mods.
So you can't equip Opfor Uniforms as Bluefor Soldier.

Yes you are right about that.
I had to make the (Uniform/Vest/Backpack) not selectable because of a bug that deleted items.
Because the Inventory isn't build to have multiple containers (Uniform/Vest/Backpack) open at the same time, I spent many many hours bypassing the problems that comes with it.

The code is definitely a mess at this point, because of the try and error i had to do to make everything work.
Maybe it would have been a good idea to simply remove the inventory and make a complete new one and use another GUI Control. I dunno.
Also there was a massive lack of scripting commands for this.
It's working and should not affect the performance of the game.
At the moment i don't find time to clean my code up.

Maybe i'm dumb, but can we not right click items into specific containers by clicking it first? For example, clicking my backpack first, which will then allow me to right click items on the ground making them go straight to my backpack? I can only get things to right click into my first open inventory space which is usually my uniform then vest then backpack. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks for the cool mod!:gordon:

I cant equip uniforms, it just won't let me I have both mods downloaded. When I try to move uniforms to a backpack or anything it just completely disepears.

I downloaded both mods and everything works for me.
You can try for yourself to only activate these mods and Better Inventory.
Maybe you have another Mod activated that also changes inventory stuff and is not compatible with my mod or breaks the cba function.
Have you maybe "Drongo's DYEL" installed? When not correctly configured that mod can deactivate the cba double click.

I have the problem in two mods:
With the "Overdrive" item from the "Android Ascension" mod
With the "Tripwire Spool" item from the "Taro Tripwire" mod

I tested it with the mod "Multiple Drones in Inventory" and had no problem with the double click menu.
The problem was also fixed back in dezember 24.
CBA by itself doesn't add item menu options when i remember correctly but gives a framework for this, so now the question what mod do you use that adds options you want to use?

Sorry, I check better, in the game I cannot open the options of an item with a double click when I have it in my inventory, it only lets me if it is on the ground, is it on purpose?
