Hello visitor. This mod is a relic from a time when Zomboid didn't include this as a sandbox setting. Welcome. Stay awhile and rest among us, we ghosts of yesteryear.

Ah god damnit, I always forget that there are both PZ mod IDs and Workshop mod IDs. This issue has been fixed now, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Hi audie, because one mod already had the Mod ID: LongLifeBulbs being subscribed to both will cause a version mismatch. You should rename your mod to Mod ID: FixedLongLifeBulbs or this will be a pain for everyone subscribed to both mods.

I'm the one who manages the dedicated server. Then Players who had subscribed to the Long Life Bulbs Mod gets the error, even though I only installed your Mod.

The Mod ID is separate in every field I can possibly find it; I don't know where any identical mod ID would be placed. Are you sure that the server you're attempting to connect to doesn't have both installed on accident?
Zannen 13 Jun, 2022 @ 6:04pm
I'm pretty sure it is.
Because on MP servers, it tells, "File Doesn't Match on the Server's."
The reason being, the client has subscribed to another LongLifeBulbs. Unsubscribing will fix it if Steam deletes the files immediately. (Sometimes it doesn't)
Which is quite botheresome.
After unsubscribed, it then shows the LongLifeBulbs Mod can then be updated from the server. The Workshop ID will always be different but if the Mod ID is the same, it causes conflicts even though it's just in the client side that has that subscribed.

ModID isn't what's causing any crashes; this mod has its own unique mod ID as all mods do. The original mod will naturally conflict; you must remove all traces of it from your system.

Should put a different Mod ID. This is making a conflicting bug with the Original mod. Fatally causing game to crash.

@Veni, Vidi, Vici You probably need to delete all traces of the original LongLifeBulbs to get it to work on a permanent basis. Look for any sign of LongLifeBulbs in your folders, delete them, and make sure you're not subscribed to the original version of LLB, only this one. You might need to flush your workshop folders and remove all your mods and try again from 0 if that doesn't work.

Why do i have to come back her every day to unsubscribe from this so it will work on the servers keeps uninstalling itself or having an error that makes it not show in the mods list server im on is using this mod and im constatnly coming back here to unsub to make it work again
