Please push that update for RimWorld 1.4 (...and maybe an update for 1.5)?

i love that "realistic rooms 1.4" isn't rated for 1.4 hahaha
NULLRAD 4 Nov, 2022 @ 10:55am
why's it say its 1.3 in the mod loader?
Codingale 3 Nov, 2022 @ 7:21pm
I don't think you pushed the update, as I don't see any new updates in the Change Notes, try to upload it again maybe? Make sure the text file or whatever it was is there so you don't upload a new mod just an update for it

@Codingale It is updated in XML, not sure how to add/edit tags on workshop. Shouldn't be any in game issue with it registering as outdated.

They want ya to add a tag for 1.4 both in the XML and on the workshop likely. It probably is yelling at them saying it's outdated

Should still work in 1.4, but would not add to any existing saves just to be safe.

does anything about this mod break in 1.4?
Blook 22 Oct, 2022 @ 6:40pm
1.4 please

Would love to see a 1.4 update on this!

Thank you.

Does it adjust space constants in room stats calculations anywhere else where room size is taken into account?
https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Room_stats
Affects room Impressiveness:
Sb = space ÷ 125
Affects room Beauty:
WeightedSize = size if (size > 40) else (20 + size / 2)

Not sure how (most likely some unwanted interference with another of my many mods), but this mod almost ruined my save. Playing with xxl stacks and after installing this mod here the settings from the later mod were returned to default which turned a stack of 450 steel into 75. An extreme loss on Sea Ice. Removing this mod here and a little devmode restored things thankfully

GG Mate, thank you for this update and giving credit to the original author. Love your work! =)

To reinforce what VibeCheque has said, this mod is almost the same as the original and the rewritten one. The rewritten one, which I use, has more customization than the original. If this mod features that as well then it purely comes down to personal choice. I haven't found the need to test this one yet as the one I use works well. But thank you for keeping a vital series of mods up to date man. Mods like this one are essential to a "more grounded" RimWorld experience imo.

This mod features the same adjustments as the original (Realistic Rooms by Crlsniper). I updated it to use in my own games and thought I would upload it. There are better mods for doing the exact same thing.

@Thundercraft
Don't forget Feng Shui (Continued), which let's you alter the weightings as well.

By how much does it lower required room sizes? The description is pretty brief and vague...

More importantly, how is this mod different from Realistic Rooms [1.3] by Scherub, or Room Size Tolerance by NECEROS? (There's also Realistic Rooms Rewritten by Lucifer and Configurable Room Stats by Squirting Elephant. But those two are configurable in their mod options menu.)

What is the difference from Realistic Rooms Rewritten ?
