Hey, has anyone gotten stuck on the "find the pilot" objective?

Nothing we did at the crashed 42 seemed to do anything. Was there a separate pilot somewhere else? We looked for a long time, had to cancel the mission because we couldn't figure it out. :KSad:

good evening! i have a request, this is easily one of the best missions out there that I've played, but was wondering whether you could make some slight tweaks.
A request to add the T-55 and EF-24G to the mission, with a focus on the latter, and maybe allowing GBU-12's or GPS guided munitions on the F/A26B or T55, as well as add adjustments like use of the newest bunkers, and ew radars/missiles. thanks!

BUG REPORT:

1. After about 1.15 minutes of play, a new player spawned into an F/A-26 and destroyed the carrier. Please check for the well known carrier bug where new players can randomly explode and kill the carrier, there was also a bug where too many launches from the catapult would also do this, please double check. If its un-fixable, you may need to add a friendly airbase for us to use to reduce the usage of the carrier ( even though its pretty cool and I prefer to have carrier only )

2. The budget is not implemented properly. I returned to re-arm yet I didnt have enough funds to re-arm and take off again. This hurts the game-play as F/A-26 players must launch very heavy to have a good chance to take out MAD-4's by bringing 4-6 AGM-88C's. So if the budget isnt set properly, we have to respawn in a new aircraft to get the new loadout. Whilst this is a fix, it adds a kill counter even though we didnt actually die, and breaks your campaign immersion.

4. Fully loaded F-45's in the hands of pilots who know what they are doing ( AKA the F-45 pilots that know they never ever have to turn their radar on lol... ) Can very very easily eliminate the enemy fighter groups as they ingress, thus reducing the difficulty of the map. They are stealth aircraft, and they are already OP to fly as they are. Suggestion: Move all F-45 spawns to the VTOL carrier only. This means the F-45's cannot launch heavy ( maybe even block wing pylon armaments, you can do this ) to give them a stronger emphasis on team work as a CAP flight, rather than a single F-45 being able to wreck 2-3 flights of enemy fighters.

3. Make the carrier group ACTUALLY a carrier group. Its only two ships. Yes we need to protect them, but a real carrier group wouldnt be this butt naked lol. Suggestion: Add 2-3 missile cruisers as defense and trigger in some serious carrier/AWACS attack groups. We played for 1-2 hours tonight and the carrier group/AWACS was never threatened, and we only had 2 F-45's actually doing their job at any one time.

2. Give us some capture objectives for the AV-42. They are " there ", but dont really have anything " to do ". By giving us some capture objectives, AV-42 pilots can have something to do in
the early game before we take the FARP's. Suggestion: Add Troops and capture objectives for AV-42 pilots to actually simulate taking over an area, such as the FARP. Also consider moving AV-42 spawns to catapult carrier so that they can launch heavy and support the airgroup.

This mission is epic, really well done. Here is some feedback and a bug report:

1. As a DCS player, the carrier group would never be that close to the combat area, initially. Even at the very beginning of the map, launching off the carrier prompts an immediate launch from the 5-6 MAD-4's on the coast at objective one, and it makes it very difficult for F/A-26's to get up the speed to reach the coast in time. Suggestion: Move the carrier fleet further south or further out to sea so that as an airgroup we actually have time to prepare/attack. MAD-4's are really, really good, and there is NO cover inbetween the carrier group and the closest land area.

We enjoyed this one. Since you asked for feedback: Zone 1 was great. As we approached zone 2, it seemed that the enemy units all spawned in at once, very near to us. Subsequent respawns once the units were already there allowed us to approach more cautiously. There is lots of demand for this type of mission, especially if it can play out differently with replays.
