Now that unit stat bonuses are controlled by a separate slider in game, is it still necessary for this mod to remove unit stat bonuses? Will that prevent the use of the slider?

I've tried this one at the top of my load order, but the AI still manages to build armies insanely fast. I've gone through the mod in PFM and all seems to be set up to work but for some reason AI gets around it.

AI is also able to field an insane amount of stacks on harder difficulties, 20+ very often, with about 30 regions give or take. When I have that many regions I can field a lot of armies, but I have very little left over gold. AI had 68000 net gold income still, this was Karaz-a-karak. I used the console mod and emptied their coffers, they had 2.5 million gold accumulated. lol. This is in 4.1. I can't remember the AI having this insane advantage pre-4.x patch.

Hey! I'm glad you've been enjoying it so far. I'm not able to check differences at the moment, so I couldn't say. I'm going to assume the AI decision making applies more pressure with increasing difficulty, but I cannot remember the AI tables well enough to say more than that.

my friend and I have been enjoying this mod during testing, But I would be interested to know what exactly the differences are between hard and very hard. Anything related to diplomacy or anti-player bias? Anything in particular at all?

Zeta-O, what AI behaviours change between difficulties, if at all (I'm not so well versed in AI modding for Total War), is unaffected. If they do not change, your statement is corrected.

The reason this mod exists is because I wanted stats to be exactly what they say they are, for the AI to be affected unambiguously by things like attrition, but to play on, say, Legendary, where you have only auto save. :bonfire2:

Would you be interested in making a mod that only nerfs the campaign bonuses? I enjoy tough battles because the AI is too easy to defeat otherwise. But I don't enjoy endless 20 stacks on the campaign map even though they have like one settlement left...

Thank you for this, one of my only complaints about this game is the difficulty and how it’s handled. Difficult doesn’t have to mean tedious, it’s rewarding without being annoying. 👍🏼👍🏼

I always played at Hard difficulty from warhammer 1.
IA tends to not exploit your weakness and declares war on you only in few semi-random circunstamces.
If I play legendary with this mod, will the IA daclares war on me when I deserve it?

@Spectre, this works with Immortal Empires but does not include anti-player bias. I believe CA ran a pass on it and tuned it better, but there's another mod on the workshop that does that too. Our mods should work together. :steamthumbsup:

This seems like it's perfect! One quick question, does this mod also remove the debuffs that the player receives? I've read that the player gets stuff like -8 morale in battles and such, which I'd like to avoid if possible.

In vanilla, AI behaviour changes based on difficulty. More than anything, the AI becomes more aggressive/daring. That's the sole difference you should see between difficulties, no ~60% resistance to all attrition at higher difficulties etc.

All mods are now updated. This mod worked for me. I found no issues. Please consider making a new campaign, if loading into an old one caused issues, and try disabling other mods you have that might conflict with this one. :steamthumbsup:

There's another mod that adds new victory conditions. They give the achievements when you complete them as well.

I mean, you do have the disable rifts altogether mod. If that aint cutting it, get a new game and distance yourself from the game until something big?

Can you make a mod that skips the rift requirements to do the survival fight?
I honestly can't be bother to finished the last two campaigns due the slog of tze realm.
Rather just get to the action at this point & not be bothered with the rest of it.
Idk i might just need a long break from the game to get me interested in it again.
