What happened to the extended firing range and bullet drop as seen in Dear Grid Coordinates? Is there something I'm missing here? why do the projectiles simply fire in a straight line and then explode like in vanilla? (not an issue with the mortar)

Love the mortar, though I have to say it's awfully inaccurate compared with actual mortars even today, let alone fifty years in the supposed future of SE. Also, pity that SE imposes some weird hard cut-off that deforms the natural CEP ellipse into a weird "this far and no further" truncated ellipse. Also², the shell model it fires somehow includes the casing. I guess it's another case of "At Aperture Science, we fire the whole bullet. That's 65 % more bullet per bullet.".

Is it a known issue that both artillery cannon variants do not show up as a Block Weapon when adding to he toolbar? The mortars shows up fine. Is there a plan to fix this?

LoD model uses the non-brake version
increase your model detail to high

Artillery cannon with muzzle brake has same model as that one without muzzle break .. can this be repaired please?

Thanks for mod without weaponcore needed, just this peace of s doesn't work for me. And immediately so many interesting weapons collections stopped functioning - "such a wonderful idea" was based on a single api.

@Consty I do not know why but the artillery cannon block does not show up in the toolbar config "block Weapons" i have tried a empty world with just this mod and it still does not show up there. the 200mm motars do though

How do I select the shell in creative mode? It seems to be random every time I spawn it in, but almost never just regular artillery shells

Hi, I've been playing around with this mod for a while now, and I really enjoy it. I couldn't find any other proper mods for artillery without WeaponCore, and this is perfect. Just one problem, the HV shells have a muzzle velocity of 800m/s, but only travel 2,500m? This seems a little short considering the furthest a shell fired at that speed could travel is closer to 60km. It would be nice if I could shell my enemies from the top of a nearby mountain. I understand why it's low, but it would be nice if it was a little higher.

SO, I love your mods to death, because I can have fun combat without bogging my game down with weaponcore (just my opinion), BUT I have so many questions!

First. This mod seems to add high velocity rounds, but in the description of your video "Dear Grid Coordinates" you say that it's a demonstration of this mods "low velocity, high explosive rounds", which your description does not mention.

Second, I noticed that you have another mod named Cannon Rework + Weapon Rebalance (Early WIP), which seems to do similar edits to the assault and artillery cannons. What is the difference between those two mods, as they're both really cool, and I'm struggling with choosing one to use.

I'm confused! Thanks!

Hey! Looking to rebalance a few of the weapons. Make mortars a bit more accurate (they keep hitting each other midflight from my mortar shotgun), and make artillery shells pack more power. Permission to repost?

Would you consider adding a medium range MLRS Weapons Block (Like a BM-24 Grad or one of the Rocket Cells from an M270 MLRS in style) Using the same arcing trajectory from the long range artillery cannon?

i made the mortars short range by design
the main use i had in mind for them is indirect behind cover fire, not long range fire support. that's what the new HE shell for artillery is for

Love the mod so much, was doing some testing and was just wondering if the mortars max out at 600 metres? If that is so I think the range should but bumped up a bit they are somewhat hard to use are mortars are intended. Bringing the range up to match the assault cannon would make it quite nice (1200 metres or more)

it's calibrated to go 600m give or take when firing from a flat, so there's that
