I'm unsure what you mean. You can't "ugprade" idea groups in EU4

Hey, for some reason in my MP game with a friend, all dlcs, I took infrastructure Ideas but I can't get the second idea from the group. I noticed after the fourth time I bought it that it didn't work. Can you check this? We only have 3 new idea groups as a mod that could change up the ideas.

@chewy i found why, in economic ideas you have the same name used, that is why infrastructure does not work

Whenever I want to pick the second idea of infrastructure ideas, the organized construction, i click, it takes my admin points but i cant take the idea. I dont know why, happened twice in my run currently. Any solutions? Keep up the great work!

in the mod manager it still shows the mod is 1.33.3 . I tried deleting and reinstalling the mod but it's still the same. any idea?

@Chlowah It's likely because it uses the vanilla tags from Anbennar. Would need a compatibility patch overwriting the vanilla tags with the Anbennar equivalents.

Been enjoying this mod a lot, however I've found (in Anbennar) that no-one picks exploration/expansion ideas meaning colonialism doesn't spawn until 1560
The mod works completely fine with anbennar otherwise, I haven't tested if it's a problem in regular EU4

@neomoore122333 I will say it again, improving relations has NOTHING to do with internal stability and humanism within your country. If you want improve relations I buffed both diplo and influence. Playing differently from the way you've played every campaign for years is the whole goal of this mod. Different isn't always bad. As stated, no "pretty big debuffs" here

@Chewy Improve relations modifier affects the rate at which AE decreases. By taking away the improve relations modifier, you take away a large reason for getting the ideas in the first place. That's a pretty big debuff,

@victorbernatas I removed it because what does improving relations have anything at all to do with humanism in your own country. It's been buffed, no "major debuffs" to be seen lol

Looks interesting ! I'll def try the mod soon. Just one thing. You said you've buffed humanist ideas given that it's now mutually exclusive with religious ideas, but you've gotten rid of improve relations, which seems like a major debuff.

hey boss, friendly heads up and a easy fix, your aristocratic eco policy has a typo in the format, with modifiers being in there twice, there for bugging out the policy to just the innovative one instead of there being a innovative and economic one. think i didnt mess the english up too hard

Just gonna write it here sense I don't believe I have anywhere else to put it, but the mutually exclusive ideas is a wonderful Idea and I know this may break the balance of every monarch slot having 1 each, but I truly feel that Quantity and Quality should really be mutually exclusive. Mostly because in history there was no real mixing of the two asides from two exceptions only because they had high populations. These exceptions were France and Russia. England is a viewpoint for quality and for a viewpoint of a switch from Quantity to quality is Prussia. Originally they had quality up until the napoleonic wars where they could be seen switching to quality that also happens to be when population became more abundant. I just feel that those two should be a mutually exclusive, but it is not necessary. Anyway have a good day and I can't wait to try out the mod.

@Lekoopa20 I just loaded in as Cologne and I have them. I assumed you have another mod that is conflicting? If you're using other idea groups it will almost 100% mess it up

@Chewy the only thing the mod does is add 3 new idea groups, it doesnt change the other idea groups at all
