Hey everyone
I updated the file to match the ACOT math that exists today (3.13.2)
In theory this should fix the mod, but I haven't been able to play for a hot minute (chasing a now toddler lol)

Does not work anymore, starting 3 corvette fleet at 5k fleet power. I have no idea why this would happen.

No longer works, military on a Marginot world is 212k, and is likely up to over the overflow integer

More of a feature not a bug, this problem occurs most often in modded games (like with Gigastructures, ACOT, etc...) and those mods often result in extremely lopsided diplo weights. Like 2000 from tech, 40000 from fleet power.

If you're just taking this on it's own then yeah that would be an issue, but I'd say both situations would be required so perhaps just a second mod?

I believe the mod should also increase diplomatic weight from fleet power. The mod lowers total diplomatic weight from fleet power by about 2.5x compared to vanilla, making militaristic empires have less impact in federations/galactic community compared to vanilla

it counters overflow by having calculations that make fleet power lower across the board, this does not prevent overflow, just makes it occur later, and allow comparing relative power easier, your ships are no weaker than they were before.

My fleet power overflowed somewhere north of 22 million. At 2.3 million now with this mod it bumps it up to 3.2 million, but nowhere close to original value.

Haven't been able to play since 3.6 released sadly, but after a quick code review I don't see anything that 3.6 changed that would effect this mod. So yes it should be fully compatible.

This mod doesn't work on Linux. You capitalized the C in your common folder, but the base game uses a lowercase c. Linux path names are case sensitive, so your defines aren't being used.

If you need smaller numbers that can be achieved by changing the multiplier within the mod, it is called MILITARY_POWER_SCALE
Change that number and everything is changed manipulatively.
I use this without actually using ACOT because they have their own fix, gigastructures is my main source of power and I've never had a problem. But if your numbers are much higher then feel free to cut that down to 1000, 160, 100, 10, etc.. depending on how large of an overflow you are receiving.

It works really well but however, most of us who seeks to this mod is to maintain our status as seeing other empire fleet power as Pathetic
However reaching extremely high cause a new problem
Fleet power comparison is converted to Equivalent to every other empire and Diplomatic Weight can have negative values.
It won't actually affect any real effects as your solution still matter more
Use this with care and keep yourself from reaching too high

Underrated, I now know just how strong my attack moons and Maginot defense command platforms are in stellaris, thank you!
