apologies, completely forgot this mod worked that way
Gotta say as compared to other terraforming mods this is definitely one of my favorites.
@Victor, That's awesome!
Also want to have a way to set the time.
Please, look forward to your perfect work.
If not, could it be added?
And one other question aimed toward you and anyone else who reads this: would a dedicated "Pumps" tab contribute too much toward UI clutter? I'd rather not crowd the "Misc." tab but I'd like to gauge the community's sentiment on it.
Good luck on your finals!
@Forekast Lol! That's a fantastic idea for a rework of moisture pumps. Unfortunately a pretty big overhaul... difficult but doable. Maybe keep an eye out this summer? Hitting finals week rn :< Glad you like it!
My first thought to reduce the amount of distinct buildables, is to have a dropdown of terrain types that lets you set the goal terrain for the area, which would dictate power consumption and fuel-requirement, if any, depending on how many "steps" apart the goal terrain is from the initial terrain. (I think the fertile fields/terraforming mod worked like that). Build cost can just use the more expensive variant, requiring advanced components.
And the the other thought would be a way to increase the speed of terraforming, by allowing the player to increase power consumption. Maybe a similar system to how cooler temperature is set, but instead allow increased or decreased power draw, which would then affect the speed of the device. (I admit, I'm not sure how difficult this would be to implement)
Maybe one that lures infestations to it?
I could pour out ideas. I just need to know what you're interested in.
