Hi there! I often get this red error pop up when I use the pumps (I've only tested with reverse-moisture and fertilizer pumps, unsure if the others do it as well). I'm not noticing any gameplay problems, but I figured I'd share the logs just in case :) Thanks for the awesome mod!

Do these mods work together? Or would they in the right load order? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1164753788

Hi, if the shallow water pump is used in a piece of land surrounded by the ocean, will it consider the water near the pump and convert the tile correctly to shallow ocean water or it's just going to convert it to shallow water which will introduce non-seamless texture?
RutraNickers 6 Aug, 2024 @ 5:58am
Does the fertilizer pump work on any terrain, or do you need to convert it first to something else?
meow 23 Apr, 2024 @ 1:23pm
cross mod compatibility with dubs hygiene for fertilizer would honestly be fantastic
Noisy Koi 21 Apr, 2024 @ 9:04pm
*face palm*
apologies, completely forgot this mod worked that way
Hobbes  [author] 21 Apr, 2024 @ 8:56pm
@Noisy Koi, That's frustrating! Sorry to hear that. Are you using any mods that change the architect menu? Pumps are all found in a dropdown as one entry in the Misc tab. You could try unsubscribing and resubscribing. Otherwise I'd also suggest you try to reproduce your issue in a new save, to verify it is not a problem with that particular save.
Noisy Koi 21 Apr, 2024 @ 4:40pm
Idk what's up but the pumps aren't showing up in the architect menu, I researched the tech but I can't find any of the pumps anywhere in the architect menu
Hobbes  [author] 20 Apr, 2024 @ 9:05am
@Shanix No problem B) Hope you enjoy!
Shanix 20 Apr, 2024 @ 8:59am
Thanks for the update! It's a lot of fun terraforming my colonies :)
Hobbes  [author] 14 Apr, 2024 @ 11:07am
@kongkim 1.5 update is planned to release soon
kongkim 14 Apr, 2024 @ 1:21am
Will you update it to 1.5? :)
Furry 13 Jul, 2023 @ 3:51am
I found that the pumps do not work on the glacier. After all, there is not earth or stone, but ice, will the ability to terraform ice be added?
Lung 20 Jun, 2023 @ 6:54pm
If you ever get around to 1.4, having the ability to equally restore terrain (Although I'm sure terrain data isn't saved) back to Granite, limestone, etc, would be equally nice.

Gotta say as compared to other terraforming mods this is definitely one of my favorites.
Blacklist07 22 Apr, 2023 @ 7:09am
just asking if it just me or not, but reverse moisture pump self destructs? it can't be placed in water/destroys itself when it creates water?
kongkim 14 Apr, 2023 @ 1:05am
Are there anyway to turn sand into soil with this mod?
bearhiderug 4 Apr, 2023 @ 4:25pm
Thats what i wnated, nice nice. Thaznkyou for the work.
Hobbes  [author] 4 Apr, 2023 @ 1:59pm
@bearhiderug, there are additional "tiers" of pump research after the vanilla one.

@Victor, That's awesome!
bearhiderug 3 Apr, 2023 @ 4:46pm
Are these requireing research to unlock? after the normal tech?
Victor 2 Apr, 2023 @ 7:31am
Hi, I made a mod that allows editing the time they take to finish: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2956544660

Can we make Table-Raiser Moisture Pump work on shallow flowing water? I wanted to make the existing river my moat, not fill it up and create a whole new river.
Also want to have a way to set the time.
Please, look forward to your perfect work.:steammocking:

Can we get something that can turn sand into soil?I am trying a dessert terraforming run but I can seem to terraform with your mod. Using garden tools is too much workforce Also as @SetArk <Nyanverick 07> said a settings tab would be awesome
SetArk <Nyanverick 07> 8 Nov, 2022 @ 3:18pm
Haven't tested it yet! Wanted to know, does the mod come with a settings tab so we can change the time it takes for the terraforming to be done?
If not, could it be added?
UltraxtheDestroyer 22 Oct, 2022 @ 4:31am
On the subject of a "pumps" tab, perhaps as an option like materials switching, and then put the master in the utilities section.
Hobbes  [author] 13 Oct, 2022 @ 10:39am
@Guiep that's a good idea, I think I'll give that a shot
Hobbes  [author] 12 Oct, 2022 @ 9:14am
@Guiep Thanks! When I update this mod to 1.4 I'll be poking around the code and will make some of the recommended changes. So to clarify, you'd like to see a pump exclusively for creating marshy terrain?

And one other question aimed toward you and anyone else who reads this: would a dedicated "Pumps" tab contribute too much toward UI clutter? I'd rather not crowd the "Misc." tab but I'd like to gauge the community's sentiment on it.
selest19 20 Jun, 2022 @ 4:53pm
balanced terra forming moment?
nobl3fire89 13 Jun, 2022 @ 1:48pm
hello, continue making mods of this or greater quality, thank you
Drayco84 7 Jun, 2022 @ 10:29am
This is already rather handy, adding the ability to make/remove geothermal vents would easily turn this into a must-have. (If you can ever find the time for it.)
Forekast 29 May, 2022 @ 2:30pm
Oh it's definitely a big ask lol.

Good luck on your finals!
Hobbes  [author] 27 May, 2022 @ 1:20pm
@Vivi Sinz Those are great ideas! My time isn't an infinite resource unfortunately, which is why I tried to keep the scope of this mod to just expanding moisture pumps. I like the chemfuel/helixien gas well idea particularly, although that would be better suited for the ground-penetrating scanner imo.

@Forekast Lol! That's a fantastic idea for a rework of moisture pumps. Unfortunately a pretty big overhaul... difficult but doable. Maybe keep an eye out this summer? Hitting finals week rn :< Glad you like it!
Forekast 27 May, 2022 @ 8:01am
Neat idea!

My first thought to reduce the amount of distinct buildables, is to have a dropdown of terrain types that lets you set the goal terrain for the area, which would dictate power consumption and fuel-requirement, if any, depending on how many "steps" apart the goal terrain is from the initial terrain. (I think the fertile fields/terraforming mod worked like that). Build cost can just use the more expensive variant, requiring advanced components.

And the the other thought would be a way to increase the speed of terraforming, by allowing the player to increase power consumption. Maybe a similar system to how cooler temperature is set, but instead allow increased or decreased power draw, which would then affect the speed of the device. (I admit, I'm not sure how difficult this would be to implement)
VelxraTV 26 May, 2022 @ 7:19pm
That would be a great mod. Not really any geyser mods. A geyser for vfe deep chem and helixian gas would be great. Maybe for the new luciferium drug farming to.

Maybe one that lures infestations to it?

I could pour out ideas. I just need to know what you're interested in.
Hobbes  [author] 26 May, 2022 @ 1:32pm
@Vivi Sinz Thanks! I only have one idea right now - creating/filling geothermal vents. Thoughts?
VelxraTV 25 May, 2022 @ 7:02pm
10/10 mod please keep expanding this very unique mod all these are great.
