Hmm, doesn't seem to like the new file:

MOD_CRITICAL_ERROR: SovietFlamiingo's Plane Parts, in file: E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2812644012\Data\WaterConfig.sbc
MOD SKIPPED, Cannot load definition file

Red error on load in. I believe the file needs to be a `.xml` rather than a `.sbc`, so SE doesn't try to load it as a block def file.

Would it be possible that you include this file as WaterConfig.xml into your mod. The file should placed in /data/ .

This will make your "Thrusters" not work anymore underwater, if the watermod is used.

hi, does anyone have a WaterConfig.xml to share for the "SovietFlamiingo's Plane Parts" please? Or can someone tell us the subid's of all drive parts, so we can change them to work under/above water by ourself? (me -> Skunkworks Admin)

very cool! between the hydrogen atmo engine and these, will make some neat planes on my server. love trying to make realistic planes. keep up the good work!

I must stress, these are not balanced for a vanilla environment. These are balanced so that you take off with your Jet, and have an operational range of 50 kilometers at the absolute most. Once again, utilizing the aerodynamics mod, lift mechanics, and throttle.

Also, the server these were made for doesn't use vanilla thrusters, and has the incredibly light AWG armour blocks to create planes with. It works very well with that ruleset.

If you don't like their balance, just rewrite the values in the sbc, and use them that way. It literally consists of opening up your mods folder, and replacing some numbers.

IMO Randas Jet engines aren't very well balanced either again with the crazy high fuel consumption - relative to their thrust output

well at the moment it is just better to use a vanilla sg Large hydrogen thruster over most of these thruster, giving a very similar amount of thrust for a fraction of the fuel burn (main case being the SH-30 engine, with them both being a 3x3)

I was thinking of making custom flames, but don't really have the time to learn how particles and effects work in SE at the moment due to finals. Maybe some time later.

The fuel efficiency is balanced for the thrust of the engines, and I tried to keep it in line with Randas Jet engine. They are also made to be used on planes that have a single axis of thrust, and actually rely on lift to fly, not to talk about using an actual throttle, which helps with fuel consumption immensely.

Very Nice Models, though i do have 2 notes, 1 the fuel efficiency is incredibly poor relative to vanilla hydrogen thrusters, having 11 times worse fuel economy. the other, I Recommend looking in to creating custom thruster flames, and for the areospike and the Cordium-base using the mulit flame system used on the DLC ion thrusters to create multiple flames.

These are awesome lookin! Would love to see two other US Styled motors, PW-F110-229 and a probably the F135.

After that, would be sick to see some high bypass
