aww man D; i hoped soo bad that there will be more after a few years. Ravenwatch is sooo good if would there a hole campaing of it with 4-5 bosses like the normal campaing i would love it soo f.. much q.q its my favorite map. even more than the normal or the pyramide campaing ó.ò and the music is sooo breathtaking for me :steamhappy::steamhappy: i love it!!!! i just let the game sometimes open to hear that sound from the start!!! i cant say it enough I LOVE IT!!!

Decent start here, but you really should playtest this with more classes - Sorcerer is completely useless against the tidal wave of bats in the first boss fight.

Woot! October and it's time to replay this map with my mate for the forth time. This is definitely our favorite, even if it's just a demo that lasted one Act. It reminds me of Ravenloft's Strad's Possession for the short part of it, minus Strad, Castle, Possessed mirrors, and a reluctant werewolf. I also enjoyed the map design as well, moving forward while being able to warp back to home town and level up. We have yet to play the main game but were having too much fun playing user content, and this is one of them.

Excellent map, but the end after the spider boss is too abrupt. After defeating the spider boss, we loaded the last save to complete the map ... and find our self in the spider dungeon again, without any possibility to go back ... :steamsad:

thanks Heretic. love Ravenwatch btw, if my screen hadn't freaked on me i would have played until the end. no joke i was addicted right away. also...Death. really? are you kidding? no joke the best boss fight i've had in the entirety of Hammerwatch. PLEASE MORE. most fun i've had in the whole game, pure gold.

Hey Buzzillio - that's really strange I've never heard that before. it sounds like a bug on Hammerwatch's side more than the Ravenwatch level.. I'll see if I can recreate it and ask the HW devs about it

my whole game goes to a grey screen when i play ravenwatch. i started looking for the candles, got like, 2 of them and now i can't play the game anymore cuz i can't see where i'm going. i saved and now its grey everytime i jump back in.

Thanks for your feedback SECRET! I just want to point out that the music isn't mine, its borrowed :D The trees dont shoot orbs they shoot thorns that I had to make glow because they were impossible to see - I agree its sloppy :P. I have been thinking of making the ravens a bit slower, but I want them to remain dangerous so I'll probably leave their attack speed and see how that goes.

The raven eggs were another sloppy move - this whole game was my first time drawing ANYTHING so the struggle was real with a lot of this! Thanks for your feedback, I hope you keep playing and I'll definitely revisit some of those items :D

Very cool so far. I'm writing this while playing. The art looks nice and the music is amazing. Probably the best map I've seen so far. There is still room for improvements though.
The raven are way to dangerous. They are the hardest enemy I've met so far. I would make them a bit slower and give them a attack cooldown. Maybe make the tree projectiles something more than just light orbs. The spiders are pretty irritating. You could make it so that the web debuff that you get didn't make you as slow. Also this is just a thing that I care a lot about but isn't necessary to chamge: the raven and theire little egg pile thingys are made up of smaller pixels than everything else. That was everything so far. Very cool map.

It was probably lag between the host and the players, it's when the zombie arms were in an L shape, you have to run quickly to get past them. Those wouldn't always show correctly and we would get damaged. Though the part that had issues was the maze of arms, where you need to get close to see them go down. They wouldn't go down until we were practically IN the arms, might need to work on some of the spacing on when it gets triggered, I don't know if that's even possible or not.

Which part do you mean Bruce? Most of the zombie arms are on a timer so that might explain why they didn't go down. Also - if there is lag between you and the host it looks like they're down when they're up sometimes. :(

The zombie arms are a little buggy, they don't always go down when approached or if they do it doesn't register and you still take damage. Happened probably 1/3 the time. Very good though from what my group and I were able to get through!

Died at the crypt level. It ramps up the difficulty a lot. NOTE don't hit the floating spines. More often than not your projectiles will go through them. Aim for the skull!

Found one glitch were the town theme looped over the other music. Had to quit the game for it to stop. No biggie.

Even the first boss battle was epic and well thought out. (To be fair I may be a bit biased because I love halloween and horror themed maps in gaming.) The monster spawns are well placed and hidden very well. My first spider bite scared the shit out of me.

The atmosphere is excellent. Sure with a few texture errors here and there, but it's easy to forgive when the over all experience is just so rewarding. Just made it to the town and bought my first upgrade, but just had to review this before it slipped my mind. I'm not even 30 minutes in and I'm having a blast. This is how you make maps for this game correctly. (I will admit the scorpions in the beginning are a bit lack luster. Maybe make them quicker, or tougher?) Other hw modders take note of this mod.

This is an epic mod! so much I could say about this, but let's start with the best feature, balance! The balance is fair unlike so many other hw mods. Not too hard, not too easy and when I died from a skillfully placed trap, it felt right. The trees with leaves hiding the ravens is where I first experienced this.

I have to say, I might have played this on an easy setting, but I adored the map <3 I look forward to an act 2 (the end said it was the end of act 1 so I assume their are plans for an act 2?). Totally going to play it again.

Hey Samon! Sorry it's not very obvious, but you're supposed to find an alternate path around that rock. If you go south (down) and to the left, there is a crack in the wall... ;)

Wow this is great feedback thank you so much! I plan on adding to this act 1 and changing/overhauling a couple of the existing levels to be much more interesting and creative. I thought I had fixed all of the parts where you can skip/leave the level, but if I missed some just add me and pm me their locations, I'll fix them asap! :D

This is the coolest map in the workshop right now. I finished it with two friends in about an hour and a half, which is already a decent length for a custom campaign and it's not even done yet. The first boss wasn't nearly as interesting to fight the second time, and there are a few graphical issues and other things that need tweaking. I'd like to be able to backtrack, for example. Also, you can actually walk past some doors to new areas in multiplayer, which generates confusion. However, the new enemies, custom sprites and tiles, and the great overall layout far outweigh the above cons. It hardly felt like I was playing Hammerwatch. So much fun. Definitely looking forward to updates.

The priest and rogue already have trainers in the town - the Priest is in a circle of statues, and the rogue is a secret entrance in the tavern behind the tapestry on the right - he has to pay the bar tender for entrance ;)

Yes sprite cahnges for all characters, and a new HUD, etc.!

Morden: There will be a list and a credits system in the game as well in the form of a piano :D
