Is there a way to make parts of this mod working on 1.19? Yes there is a car horn in vanilla now, but it's not doing anything. Would be nice to have the horn attracting zombies. Also different sounds for cars and trucks... maybe a project?

Thank the DayZ gods...This should have been inherent in vanilla, bravo on putting it in. I'll test it on expansion vehicles and RFFS Helis today and report back.

- Re-wrote code to use an action instead of RPC.
- Added "noise" to the horn so that it attracts zombies.
- Fixed horn playing after logging out and back in.
- Changed car horn sound to a better sound effect.
- New source code is on my Github.

Sometimes the beep sound randomly appears during the login to the server.

Does it also pull in zombies nearby, like loud sound should do?
Being able to lure in all nearby zombies by honking would be great

It works, but once someone gets close to the vehicle after it honked. it'll play the honk sound again. everytime u leave a certain radius and come back. honk honk. xD
love the mod but would be cool to see fixed ^^

Just tested in Dayz Expansion Mod, it sounds much more realistic than the one in Expansion Vehicles. However by default it will play both the horn from this mod and the one from Expansion Vehicles. This can be fixed simply by unbinding the vehicle horn key under "Dayz Expansion - Vehicles" keys.

it really rises a question about zombies :) they defo should hear this as a gunshot

Would a config option be possible to add add-on vehicles to get specific horns? most of the trucks from the carpack i use sound like a car horn :C
