(life crystal update)
This seemed big enough to post an update on this. The problem was apparent.
Defense scaling was also broken for some reason. This was fixed.
The update is useful namely for the performance update. There was a problem with entities and have too many of them. All these were effectively removed.
The mod config now has an option for overriding the character class option. The UI in-game does not change (remains 'locked, but the clas selection does. This is in trial testing, but seems to work I guess. There is some specualtion that in MP this will behave wierdly but I'm ntio too sure yet.
There was an idea about making the difficulty slider more reasonable but when Archaea Mode is active, the health scaling is pretty high. So the player becomes a complete tank. In effects to resolve this, the difficulty scales with Player.maxLifeStat. Hopefully this goes over well. I was not able to fully rest it.
Be it class locks, buggy movement, no config for the mod.
Uninstalling, might revisit later.
Bad.
I haven't played this mod in a while, but I've noticed it REALLY doesn't like mixing with any mods that change the landscape too much.
(From what I can tell, is the class selection just there to lock you out of using non-class equipment? I can't tell if it's doing anything else.)
Not sure if a bug: I was hopping through the surface corruption and everything went really dark and the music cut out for a second or so. I'm just confused and I'm not sure if something else was supposed to happen.
Suggestion: something to change, delay, or edit the difficulty timer and how it affects the difficulty. It's only been a couple ingame days and all enemies have double the health now, it's starting to take a noticeably longer time to kill anything, and I'm pretty iffy about the damage buff, too, because my melee character's getting hit pretty hard, but nothing changes for my ranged character because they're never getting hit
Can we get some screenshots, or at least a description?
