It took me some time to modify your building.ini
I added 2 crane positions ($COST_WORK_VEHICLE_STATION) to your script.

$COST_WORK SOVIET_CONSTRUCTION_SKELETON_CASTING 0.7

$COST_WORK_BUILDING_ALL
$COST_WORK_VEHICLE_STATION 5 0 5 0 0 0 // 1. work position
$COST_WORK_VEHICLE_STATION -5 0 -5 0 0 0 // 2. work position

$COST_RESOURCE_AUTO wall_concrete 0.2
$COST_RESOURCE_AUTO wall_panels 1.4
$COST_RESOURCE_AUTO roof_woodsteel 1.1
$COST_RESOURCE_AUTO wall_steel 0.3

Works fine for me. You have to tell the crane where to position with $COST_WORK_VEHICLE_STATION after you called to build with $COST_WORK_BUILDING_ALL

The first stage of construction works fine, there is a place for an Excavator.
For the second stage of construction the is a vehicle_station missing so no place for a crane.

Cos I don't know how to do it, ZILonaut!

Why is there no position to build the house with the support of a crane?
Everything has to be build by my workforce with no support by a crane.
Even a bigger bus station has a vehicle station for a (or two) crane!

@brammered Oh that's actually really cool, nice to know that so much work was put into them! :)

Hey @eating_horse: I haven’t. I’ve got a floor plan designed out (cos I’m a geek haha), which works on the premise of 30 workers per floor (12 one bedroom apartments for 2 workers and 2 2 beds that fit 3 workers each). Stairwells are at the end of each row, and a central column in the middle allows for a lift to be put in!

It’s cosy, just like the Khrushchyovkas!

@oolykee: thank you my friend! I appreciate you sharing as always!

Happy B-day, Chris!
Thank you for your hard work!

Love the models but have you thought of making a version with slightly fewer residents? I feel as if the current numbers are way over the top

Great models I'm going to use in my middle density towns.
I've reached 95K pop, my 2016 mid range computer handling it with no prob so I guess you can keep growing worriless.
Also I love that they come in different colors and textures.
Awesome job

Thank you! These are completely new Mr Vimes! I was trying to remake my "Minsk Gallery Tenements", but ended up going off the design, and making something a bit different!

Thank you for watching the YT series as well, honestly I still love it, and love going back and seeing how far it has come. Hopefully the computer will be ok for a little bit longer.

These look great, thanks.
Have these come from an existing CS mod or completely new..? I know some of your previous work seems to have been influenced from CS :)
Love the choices of colours as well. Amazed at how your YT game has progressed over time. Almost at 80k pop now and still thriving, your hardware still seems capable of giving you decent performance.

My understanding is that skins have to be separate to the model otherwise the workshopconfig file doesn't work. I could be totally wrong with that, but I haven't seen any other mods combine them into a single item, and it is was how I was shown when learning the process.

Also, I guess folks might not want them. No point hammering everyone with extra large folders if they don't want it!
Jagert 10 Jun, 2022 @ 2:55am
nice buildings, but why are the skins a separate download?
