(unoffical secondary ship story) after the immense success of the SS Abbotsford, the TT&NC company built a sister ship, named the Netherlandic, built and launched in 1858, the netherlandic was almost the same exact ship, using the same plans as the Abbotsford, meaning it costed around the same to build her. She was sold to many companys throughout the years, in 1899 she was sold to Blue Line Steamers as a gift for the loss of one of their ships, the SS Neilstong, in 1909, she was sold to June Shipping Service,

given a fresh coat of red paint on her funnel, giving her the iconic JSS livery, however, instead of the hull being painted entirely black, her yellow line was kept there until 1914. When World War 1 broke out, she was put into military cargo service, disguised as a german ship, she remained in passenger service until 1939, when she was called into World War 2. She was sunk in 1943 when a german battleship noticed the ship, fired 3 torpedos, causing her to sink by the port side, 57 out of the 283 people onboard survived.
