Read the mod description it says it takes away the component requirement

That just changes the texture right? Is the normal cash register still functional in the midieval overhaul without that? or does it still need this patch?

I think Adamas or somebody made a medieval cash register of some kind. I haven't had a store in my game in a while so I'm not sure
