cylstrike 13 Sep, 2014 @ 7:53am
great work. appreciate for all you done
Hloeric  [author] 13 Sep, 2014 @ 7:30am
i have posted 2 new screenshots of a test today. the 1st in the reel is armoured legionaries with no mods active, the 2nd in the reel is the game with Romanorum Acies v0.3 active. and the 2nd reel screenshot has one variation of a RA Centurion. hope you all like what you see
Hloeric  [author] 13 Sep, 2014 @ 7:29am
romanorum acies v0.3 is within 2 days of release. also cylstrike2013 the answer is yes :) and even further i have done it in such a way that this mod will be compatible with hopefully all unit packs, overhauls and submods....providing...the units those mods have made use vanilla models and texture names :)
cylstrike 13 Sep, 2014 @ 5:18am
will the new mod support patch15beta?
Xj427 12 Sep, 2014 @ 5:07pm
dude im so ready one more day a week? for Romanorum Acies?
Hloeric  [author] 11 Sep, 2014 @ 4:46am
i havent updated it, Romanorum Acies and the historical centurions will be released as a new mod as the edits are massive and would be confusing to add to this test mod as units have been edited ect. i will post a link to the new mod and update the description :) and the clipping is gone on the amroured legionaries now in the new mod ;)
Xj427 10 Sep, 2014 @ 1:59pm
my Amoured legionaries there back off ther head is still clipping through
Hloeric  [author] 7 Sep, 2014 @ 4:28pm
the clipping has been removed becasue the amoured legionaries now use the correct italic coolus :) thank you for your kind words. Romanorum Acies will be released this month as v0.3 with historic centurions with original RA textures :)
Xj427 7 Sep, 2014 @ 3:42pm
the back of the head clipping is the only bad thing
Hloeric  [author] 2 Sep, 2014 @ 12:52am
are you talking about the roman female armour parts? if so then in future yes, if you do download the new Romanorum Acies Mod when i release it you wont lose anything that was released in beta. all this mod and future mod will do is overwrite current game unit textures and wont effect anything else :) was that your question? if not could you please elaborate
The Wild-Mugato 1 Sep, 2014 @ 5:24pm
Hello, Great mod. Question? Are you going to be updating your MODS with the new content that was released in BETA on Sept 1 2014? Thank you..
Xj427 27 Aug, 2014 @ 8:27pm
love this mod but the back off the head clipping has to go
Hloeric  [author] 26 Aug, 2014 @ 6:27am

Hloeric  [author] 17 Aug, 2014 @ 3:54am
i have to go to france for a week for family things but at the moment the primary roman armours are done, all roman helms are done, just working on the helennic helms the romans use, all shields are complete i just am in the finish the helms stage and get stucking into the rigid_model_v2 stage. but things are looking great i will post some pictures
Xj427 12 Aug, 2014 @ 11:56am
some of the romans there back of there head is going though the helmet
Hloeric  [author] 10 Aug, 2014 @ 3:40pm
not a problem :) alot of the roman armours are finished now its the constant editing of the models that is taking time but when it is release it will be about version v0.4 and then it will continuously develop from their until every unit is complete
The Wild-Mugato 10 Aug, 2014 @ 2:46pm
Hloeric , Thanks for that update and look forward to seeing this new mod. ")
Hloeric  [author] 10 Aug, 2014 @ 1:31pm
expect the release of the romanorum acies mod in the next week and a half, the thread i am writing has a change log, list of everything edited, future things to be edited and will constantly be updated with retextured armours. this way you dont have to worry about checking it will update automaticly in your mod manager :) keep an eye out in the Authentic Ancient World hosted forum on TWCenter
The Wild-Mugato 10 Aug, 2014 @ 9:15am
I know you state , no more UPDATES for now. When can we expect them? Time frame?Reason I ask, I have to CHECK to enable it to play your mod. Thanks.
Hloeric  [author] 4 Aug, 2014 @ 9:14am
hey there unfortunatly i cant, that is a clipping issue from the vanilla models the \CA made. im currently working on the new mod soon for release :)
cylstrike 4 Aug, 2014 @ 6:46am
hi, i have the same issue about helmetes of armored legions. the brain back of some helmets showing black or transparent, can you fix it? thanks so much
Hloeric  [author] 1 Aug, 2014 @ 12:32pm
hello there. this mod isnt recieving anymore updates at the moment. the test was a success and as Authentic Ancient World has started releasing things on steam and people want it im working on a full Roman Retexture Overhaul. this retextures every roman armour, shield and weapons. Keep an eye out for "Authentic Ancient World: Romanorum Acies" on the steam workshop :) thank you for visiting
KampfzwergKania 1 Aug, 2014 @ 8:10am

Hloeric  [author] 28 Jul, 2014 @ 8:22am

ThePupPeTmAsTeR 20 Jul, 2014 @ 9:38am
Smithy1990 please try to fix this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=259420337 and add it to your mod it will be awesome looking with this centurion. The current author hasnt been on for months and is gone so he cant fix it.
Hloeric  [author] 20 Jul, 2014 @ 9:18am
:) it will work with most mods, the shields are new model files so will always work and units will have retextured shields and armour :) as long as the other mod uses the vanilla models to make their mod this should work :)
Invicta 20 Jul, 2014 @ 7:52am
Works with the roman families too. Can see the difference is army colours between different houses
Invicta 20 Jul, 2014 @ 7:42am
Nice mod looking forward to the full release
ThePupPeTmAsTeR 18 Jul, 2014 @ 9:54am
Great mod. But i have mod request can u take the challenge? This mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=259420337 is a great mod. But it has bugs with it. The shield is missing can you fix this even though its not your mod?
Hloeric  [author] 18 Jul, 2014 @ 8:03am
glad to here it :) im currently half way through making new polybian shields so keep and eye out for AAW: Romanorum Acies (Shields) on the workshop as it removes all vanilla roman shields and replaces them with mine :) enjoy the mod
ONURIKO53_117 18 Jul, 2014 @ 7:54am
No-no, it's fine. I downloaded the steam-version and it runs without any issues. My legions look really great with your mod. :)
Hloeric  [author] 18 Jul, 2014 @ 6:24am

ONURIKO53_117 18 Jul, 2014 @ 4:49am

Hloeric  [author] 16 Jul, 2014 @ 11:09am
Hello all, a quick update. I would like to take this oppertunity to thank everyone for their support for this mod. The feed back has been excellent and has allowed continued development of the "Authentic Ancient World" textures that now looks amazing. That said "Authentic Ancient World: Romanorum Acies" our texture pack to be used for a full roman overhaul is underway :D and this test pack will be left as is :). At AAW the mod is going to be modular so you can select which features you want to play rather than being forced into playing features you may not enjoy. So Romanorum Acies will be split down and modular also (Shields, Armour and Weapons and standards). In not to long the first of the modular retexture packs the shields will be put on steam and downloadable. It will remove every vanilla roman shield and replace them with battleworn historical shields like the shields in the test pack but many many many more. keep an eye out on the workshop :)
Res Militaris 15 Jul, 2014 @ 8:39pm
Hello Smithy1990_707, thank you for your reply. Really looking forward to enjoy the "Romanorum Acies", again thank you for your efforts!!! :)
goatherder321 15 Jul, 2014 @ 9:09am
i love this mod, espcecially the triarii and hastati sheilds and armor
Hloeric  [author] 15 Jul, 2014 @ 6:48am
could you please post what units have the chainmail problem is it the praetorians or all the other units?
Hloeric  [author] 15 Jul, 2014 @ 6:11am
hey mikey thanks for the feed back, i will look at the chainmail as soon as possible, as for the helemets unfortunatly thats is a clipping issue, it is do do with the model that CA created not the texture. im not a 3d modeller so the only fix for that is if a modeller enlarged the helmet slightly to get rid of the clipping.
mikey 15 Jul, 2014 @ 1:30am
and theres something up with the armoured legions helmets back of themm look like skin showing there all pink
mikey 15 Jul, 2014 @ 1:28am
great mod
but since the fix my guys chainmail armour dosnt look as good as it did before the fix
Albert 14 Jul, 2014 @ 3:15pm
Yes !!! Good work friend :D...but now you can retexture all roman units please =)

Great mod !!!
Hloeric  [author] 14 Jul, 2014 @ 2:59pm
fix applied and now updated :) enjoy all
