I would like to have an ammunition refill only for the defender, during defensive/siege battles, settlements and fortifications.

May you live long and prosper, this mod is (among other joyful benefits) the only thing that makes the fucked up sieges in this game bearable :)

They are tagged as Missile Infantry, that is why they get regen ammo.

Seems to regenerate ammo for certain units with under 10 max ammo. I noticed it on skink javelins, they would auto-enable melee mode but the ammo would regenerate and if I switched melee mode off they could throw javelins again. They have 3 ammunition.

hello, just want to came by to say loving the mod, I really love having a lot of ammo in game
and yes as the time writing the mod is working even the new unit get the buff ( I tested only the nuln ironside tho )

I tested it today, it works.
You have to enable the mod again in the Mod Manager after a patch.

Been using the Warhammer Mod Manager from the workshop, and so far this mod keeps working just fine. Only time anything gets odd is like with mods that add units but that's to be expected sometimes, and even then it super rare. This is an extremely stable mod by Warhammer Total War standards really.

Mod Manager say it is outdated but it still works.
You can test it yourself.
The mod is very lightweight and should never be outdated and stop working, unless CA changes the lua-code.

Problem seems to still persist even when we have resubscribed to the mod multiple times. Probably a conflict with other mods I have.

Multiplayer Campaign, both players need to have the mod active.
Multiplayer battles against random opponents are programmed to be mod free by CA.

I have updated the mod.
I haven't fixed anything, but the mod will now print out more details to lua_mod_log.
I have increased the frequency for generating ammo from every 30s to every 20s.

Necrofex is a DLC unit I don't have access to so I would like you to enter a battle (Skirmish vs AI or Campaign) with that unit in an army.
Once on the battle screen (You don't have to click the Start Battle button) you can alt+tab, locate lua_mod_log.txt (Same folder as warhammer3.exe) and copy and paste the content to this thread .

This goes to everyone that has a unit that doesn't get the ammo refilled.

Do you mean the mount for the Noctilus?
Because that one gets tagged as Commander, and mod will not give it ammo, because it fails all the checks.
The normal and RoR Necrofex should work, since they are tagged as missile infantry.

Necrofex Colossus are tagged as missile infantry so they should be affected.
Make sure it is not a summoned unit.

Mod is amazing and literally works 99.99% of the time. I found that for some artillery monsters. It doesn't seem to work though? Maybe its something with me though?

That is odd.
I am currently playing a campaign with Ku'gath and using this mod.
My Plague Drones of Nurgle (Death's Heads) runs out of ammo, but they regenerate the ammo back.
But what happens when the unit runs out of ammo is that it they enter Melee mode and the game turns off Fire-at-will.
So after they have regenerated back some ammo, it turn melee mode off and turn on fire-at-will.

Strange that Dreadquake Mortar runs out of ammo, they have a reload time of 24s.
They should basicly get 1.5 ammo every time they fire a mortar.

Please, after entering the Battle screen, look in "lua_mod_log.txt" file located where warhammer3.exe is.
Tell me if you can find Dreadquake mortar there, or post the content of the file here.

Hello spell, if an unit has use up all its ammo, then it won’t replenish every 30 sec? Had happened for units such as dreadquake mortar.

I can definitely confirm it still works. I prefer the old way because you can tell exactly when a unit is going to replenish, but I guess this is a more lightweight solution.

You can now test in in Skrimish Vs AI. Start a siege with an artillery unit for example and let it destroy all the walls, it will not run out of ammo.

There is no passive ability now. And you need to enable the mod in the Mod Manager before launching the game.

I have further updated the mod with better handling of reinforcements, but also more output to lua_mod_log.txt so you can see which units are affected.

You can look in "lua_mod_log.txt" (same folder as warhammer3 exe) if the mod loaded successfully.
This is a battle mod so you need to enter a battle and then look in "lua_mod_log.txt".

There is nothing visual except that you can see the ammo bar filling up under the unit / unitcard sometimes.

how to tell if it's working after changing into lua script?
Before this, I could see the passive ability icon.
