My Il-2:s are out as you might have seen already and have finally even managed to get updated in the Workshop, and I'm now working on an improved version of the B-17 so that'll come out next, hopefully within a week. It's a big and quite tricky build (as in a lot of functionality and tricky details) so will take few more days at least.

My B-29 flies fine, it's just VERY slow to roll (and loses massive amounts of speed doing it) since the game for some reason makes rolling with larger wingspans nearly impossible. Other than that it behaves pretty well I think. :)

I mainly build WW2 planes so I'm afraid the B-36 is a bit on the newer side for me. I can put it on my list but I already have over 50 other planes on there waiting to be built, so there's no telling when or if I get to the B-36.

I've been trying to get my Superfortress and a cioule of other planes to work, but this update is utter crap for especially large slow prop planes and they just fly poorly no matter what Itry Some real-life stuff is also going on so I really don't have the drive nor the energy to try to solve what seems to not be solvable right now.
If I manage to get some useable planes for the new version I will add them with 122 added to the name to separate them from the old versions if anyone is lucky enough to have the old version of the game.
Sorry but this update broke me and my planes utyterly.

Well my Viggen works better in the new version, but my prop planes, especially the bigger ones, don't work well at all even with some serious tweaking. If this is how the aerodynamics will work from now on and unless I'm missing or misunderstanding something fundamental there will likely be no more WW2 planes from me (or planes at all tbh) since they just don't work and I refuse to use thrusters as ailerons just to get a plane to roll unless it flies at 600+ kph.
This update fixed NONE of the issues I was having, it even made flaps even worse, and even introduced some new ones that just has discouraged me utterly. Hopefully there'll be some fixes, but as it stands now larger prop planes are out, jets/rockets are the only thing that work andmaybe single seater prop planes since they are less sensitive to the issues. But sadly my Superfortresses and Lancasters seem to belong on the scrapheap in 1.2.2. 😣

Sadly I'm having no success in adapting my Superfortress to the new version of the game. Ailerons (used for rolls) do even less than before while robbing the plane of even more airspeed. I can fly straight ok, but rolling and turning is a nightmare. RIP all my bombers... 😣

So far not a fan AT ALL with the new aerodynamics. It's supposed to be more "realistic" but makes no sense at all. Air speed loss when using flaps is even BIGGER than before. Tried making a barrel roll at 500+kph with the Superfortress and after barely half a roll it fell out of the sky with less than 80 kph speed. So yup this is gonna be fun... 😣

Sadly building new planes will have to wait until I've fixed all my old ones.

Apparently 1.2.2 is now out without any info about it except a brief mention by the creator in Discord. All my planes need to be recalibrated to fly properly since they now fly more like RC planes than real actual size planes with the new aerodynamics in the game. I will try to fix this ASAP and mark each plane (and other creations) that is 1.2.2 ready in their description. It will take quite a while to go through all of them though. 🙄

If I ever remake the B-17 I'll start from scratch probably since I build with different methods now. But no promises as to when or if that happens.

This was by far the most troublesome build I've taken on so far and I knpw it's a bit rough in quite a few places, but it's the best I can do with my limited skills and patience (it still took 30+ hours to build). At least it flies well and drops a lot of BOOM! :)

Here it is. As I wrote elsewhere I tried to keep the surface plastic or at least oak to keep some sheen since the original is all shiny metallic but it just got too heavy (well over 50,000 kg, it's still 30,000+ kg even with all the foam) so I had to use as much foam as possible which means no sheen but a flyable plane. :)
