No the spawn list is curated and primarily designed for players experienced with the game either playing close to vanilla or somewhat modded. Nightmare *Exists* but updates trail because its a pain in the ass to update two or more spawn lists.

If you are getting too many attacks try to run quieter more often and ping occasionally, we still reward stealth gameplay and some people complain that stealth makes baro too easy but would riot if there was stuff that was better at detecting the sub while it was doing stealth maneuvers so whatever .

Hard to say exactly how to get the mod up, did you unsubscribe from the mod, delete the mod from both workshop and staging and try to resubscribe to steam and also try validating the game?

I got an update prompt from a modded server i was in, and ever since then the mod disappeared from the mod list despite being in the files as far as i can tell, and every time i try reinstalling it it just enters this endless loop of barotrauma starting download, then installing, then validating, then back to updating
When attempting to download from the prompt when joining the server, the download meter reaches 2%~7% before instantly reaching Installed and then reseting back to downloading
Ive tried most of the help guides already like manually deleting the staging folder to no effect.
Any help?

Wow so not one but two red text spamming bugs squashed, first one was afflictions for hermits were in a staging folder and not in afflictions.xml, second was mudraptor tail was out of index event though it had the same exact index as vanilla, added a tail index ffs.

Husk Rampager (prowler upright) moved to Heavy randomizer from Light

However with yet another hotfix we have TWO new Husk monsters added to the Light Randomizer for husks so will spawn in areas where there are generally husks

PUCS husk is similar to the standard husk but is nearly immune to burn damage and occasionally carries volatile nuclear materials.

Ancient/Old suit Husk is a older style dive rig with pincer clamps using a mix of new and old textures its like a much lighter Exosuit husk, very slow and very durable but not nearly as much as an exosuit, slightly more resistant to burns than a normal husk due to the insulated heavy suit.

Rock creatures with eyes are actually pretty rare spawns on the lists.
Husk Prowler was previously and unknowingly nerfed, next update prowler and rampager will be going to the Heavy spawn list and PUCS husk will be added to the light list as a rare spawn

Some feedback as someone who has reached the Aphotic Plateau in my playthrough:

- The rock creatures with the giant eye are way too common, especially early on, and are a massive nuisance to fight for no good reason. If they just happen to tuck in a way where you cant shoot their eye there's practically nothing you can do about them besides waste a full coilgun ammo box shooting their hard shell. I get that it's supposed to be punishing you for not having armor piercing, but even AP coilgun rounds aren't that much better and these things spawn constantly in the 1st zone with Barotraumatic installed. They should have weaker armor or more versatile weaknesses that don't rely on timing when they do their super janky turnaround animation. This will do a better job of rewarding good aim instead of just punishing you as you wait for them to decide to make themselves vulnerable

Accidentally updated and had to hotfix and throw a BT update as well.

Two new husks the Prowler Hulk and the Husk Slipsuit.

Two new randomizer fake monster husks which are used to randomly spawn light or heavy husks from lists.

Fixed the Turret Carrier Flak randomizer not working as well.

Some Husk Immortals now wear a Cuirass to protect their squishy writhing insides.

Also this is NOT a LUA mod but we do encourage people to use performance fix if they encounter issues with performance due to increased creature spawns.

Mod wouldn't work for me. I ensured I followed all steps. Lua performance patch, ran the command, did the fixes, installed, reinstalled, re-reinstalled several times. Nothing worked. Messed with load order. Didn't work. Deleted the folder. Didn't work. Deleted both folders attached to it. Didn't work. Re-installed the whole game. Didn't work.

Think this mod is now likely busted and non-functional. Shame cause I really wanted to try it.

So group of people contacted me a few hours ago about a game breaking issue and didn't properly report it here when asked and tried to contact me again with actual info I had to bash out a patch by trimming down a .ogg and turning streaming off.

vanilla style attacks, mudraptors have several attacks on different cooldowns, tiger threshers have very short cooldown on attacks.

Not really anything different from vanilla here.

For some reason crawlers, mudraptors and tiger thrashers (so far) after attack stay inside of human hitbox, it then results in multiple hits form the same enemy after a very short period of time. Is this intended?

For anyone playing with real Sonar and want to patch the diving suits for this mod using Real Sonar's built in setting feature of patching, I went through the pain staking process of going through the ID files and manually putting in the patches. Make sure to place it in { } without replacing code

I got a warning in the console about 'some large audio clip is set to be loaded into memory instead of streaming it from the disk. This can lead to excessive memory usage'
and the audio name are "stalkernear.ogg", "headphonejack.ogg", "headphonejack.ogg", "headphonejack.ogg" and "headphonejack.ogg".

I don't really know what it mean but it something I think I should report.

Human Enemies such as Clowns, Jovians and Immortal Cultists now have proper accessories and gender division as we no longer need to use the work around that resulted in gray men.

Bombers vest now has minor protective qualities if you can get one.

Teleglitch electric discharger should be fixed.

Deep Sea Clowns and Husk Chimera Brood Mothers are smaller so they can move and attack in confined spaces much better.

Tested the mod a bunch but I am worried there may be a crash potential when human enemies spawn but It seems good in testing.

I found a possible issue. It doesn’t seem critical, but it could cause some lag.
Potential error in StatusEffect (ElectricalDischarger). Target not defined, the effect might not work correctly. Use target="This" if you want the effect to target the entity it’s defined in. Setting "This" as the target.

It seems to be triggered by attacks from Teleglitch, specifically when it uses "teleglitchelectropulse".

A large number of small fixes to size and shape of monsters, Particularly Husk Chimera Broodmother and Scavenger

All trophy/monster part weapons have a 10-25% dual wield penalty, error in crab claw had its damage higher lacerate when it was supposed to do a tiny bit of blunt damage and too little bleeding, attack speed very minor decrease. it should be roughly equivalent to a slower knife that is better against doors/walls.

Hotfix for petraptor not eating. Now patrols sub better but still tends to follow people around VERY good at following divers from and back to the submarine. Has an ID card slot so you can let them roam around the submarine more and exit ballasts or enclosed spaces.

Still not really feeling the pet eat or die mechanic, should be replaced with some kind of debuff?

deleted my entire workshopmods folder, restarted steam, still the same error of the filelist.xml not being found. would getting a friend to send over their creature pack folder and pastinf that in my mods folder work?

unsubscribe and check both workshop and the appdata\local\\ folders, delete both of them , restart steam and resubscribe to the mod.

i verified files, resubbed, deleted the empty folder for it, and every time i resub to it it makes the same error that it cant find the file (because the folder is empty)

Try directing folks to delete \AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\WorkshopMods\Installed\(Mod ID) to force clean reinstall a corrupted mod.

Due to base game patches/mod rot the Teleglitch enemies were no longer operating correctly and had severe AI issues, they should now be fixed.

Electrospike is fixed (again?) on giant electric spineling.

Mod loads fine no errors, resubscribe and try validating files your version is corrupted and missing the filelist.xml for the game to even load it.
