Barotraumatic Creature Pack

Description
Attention!

If you have recently updated the mod and experience errors such as unable to join server with the current version and being prompted to download the mod, missing files in console, mod unable to be loaded due to errors and red in mod loader. Then it is highly likely your mod installation is corrupted.

To fix this go to the ingame mod manage and find the mod in the list, right click the mod and select "View Details" and in the mod details page there is a button in the upper right hand corner labelled reinstall. Hit this button and the mod will be reinstalled in both the workshop and staging folder. This should almost any issue you have with the mod.

If that doesn't work you will have to go to usually your C:\ drive and \AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\WorkshopMods\Installed\(Mod ID) and manually delete the mod from this staging folder that is separate from your workshop mods folder in steam/steamlibary.

If you are still having issues verify the integrity of your installation including by right clicking Barotrauma in your Libary and selecting Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify Intergrity

It is HIGHLY recomended to install and use Performance Fix by Evil Factory and have it configured while playing BaroTraumatic with these creature mods!


Features

This is my WIP mod to help fix old creature mods that have been abandoned by their creators, improve some creatures from other mods. and this also features my new creatures that I will be adding in on this mod.

After a long debate, we've finally decided to release the Full Creature Pack for our project! This mod combines all creature packs together to make things easier for server hosts and new players.

Installing!

Install the following mods in this order:

Barotraumatic
Barotraumatic Creature Pack

Do Not use any other creature pack or creature modification with this including Let Them All in or Megalaphobia. In the case of Let Them All in the larger and abyss monsters that can partially enter the hull will enter hull spaces but the portions hanging outside the submarine can not be shot as they cannot exist outside and inside at the same time due to a engine limitation.

This mod no longer requires the Improved Huskmod, though it may optionally be added, though it is not supported.

This mod is NOT compatible with any overrides to vanilla creatures or any of the older legacy Barotraumatic packs.

This mod IS compatible Dynamic Europa and should be fine with other similar level overhaul mods like More Level Content

Can you get me anything more specific to the error message, that is a base game texture but its supposed to be split between MALE and FEMALE and something is causing it to display Gender which the game is supposed to read and assign the correct male or female skin to the humanoid creature or NPC like, I went through all 240+ of the creatures in the mod with special detail to those like husk immortal cult, jovian pirates and clown wanderers. I did not encounter this error with spawning any of them so it might be tied to when they are spawned for the event in game.

I found several other unrelated issues and fixed them last patch

I need more info to proceed before I can work it into the next patch a long with some sound overhauls

I have another mods like Dynamic Europa and Real Sonar. But afaik both Barotraumatic and DE or RS don't have conflicts.
Maybe loading order?

its possible its this mod however that seems to not track with testing I have done with clown wanderers and pirates. Need more info

Hi there!
After entering Europan Ridge i always get several strings with this error.
Sprite "Content/Characters/Human/Human_[GENDER].png" not found!

Maybe it's not related to this one mod.

i got this error message if it helps:

hi i recently got an error from another mod called Baro Plus it says that the Creature pack is using an item called Husk Spawner that is also present in Baro Plus. i now cant use the Baro Plus mod anymore wich completly robbed me of all the items the mod has to offer... so i now need to either ditch the Creature pack to be able to use the items again or i need to ditch Baro Plus so i can use the Creature pack... is there any way that you could update the Husk spawner under a diffrent name so i can use both mods?
