I have published the first in this collection of 10. N.S1171 Fox Valley Corridor.
I hope it meets your expectations (from an Aussie!).
A short scenario to start, to get used to the route, and to allow checking the history vs Google Maps, and then I increase scenario length as I go along. I hope to get some useful feedback.
This route is up there with the best available by anyone/developers.
Cheers
What you have provided is a great help. I will use these for my series. I am really looking forward to creating some slower relaxing low-key scenarios. Recently I have been creating a lot of high speed / express freight. Your route will be a nice change for me. Best regards

Sadly that is all there is for C&NW and Milwaukee Road locomotive power.
There is also the WC SW1500 locomotive in CN livery, but that wouldn't be appropriate until after 2001.
I intend creating a collection of 10 scenarios that I will publish. I only use DLC purchased via Steam, and want a suggestion from you, which flags/locomotives would be suitable (via Steam) for 1970 to 1980, that would be acceptable to US users and my worldwide participants.
After reading all your mind-boggling info and history, I am non the wiser what could be suitable.
I hope you can help me. Cheers
Always funny how you can have way too much and still be missing something critical for something else.
I hope others will create scenarios for the route to draw more people to this route. I have to give it a drive first but may run a couple of introductory videos covering the entire route if I find some good ones to use. Do you have more information available about the route that might help me discuss everything about it should I do that?

I wouldn't consider that DLC a true requirement. Without the DLC you may see some milk bottles instead of army trucks in the parking lot at Oshkosh Truck near the Oshkosh Airport.
