  • Fixed broken switch and surrounding track on SOO just north of Nevada St in Oshkosh.
  • Fixed broken switch on SOO between 14th Ave and 15th Ave in Oshkosh.
  • Fixed misaligned switch on SOO between Ripple Rd and Fisk Ave south of Oshkosh.
  • Added crossover track on SOO between 18th and 19th Ave so trains can bypass the depot without being forced onto the Oshkosh Yard siding. Added signals as well.
  • Converted a couple of manual switches to automatic switches between Oregon St (near Hydrite Chemical) and 19th Ave.

Updates:
  • FIXED: unwelded track on main branch line at Rockwell.
  • Adjusted speed limits on the track northwest of Rockwell.
  • Corrected the CNW track alignment at Tower CF
  • Added scenery between SOO and CNW mainlines in downtown Oshkosh, particularly between Parkway Ave and the Fox River.
  • Replaced some far houses, grass, and trees with lighter objects to reduce asset counts in the downtown Oshkosh area.

Bug Fixes:
  • Add missing signals at north end of SOO Winnebago Siding (MP 179)
  • Raised Hwy 26 overpass by 1 point so that AutoRack cars can get through
  • Tweaked the odd signal for SOO NB at Murdock Ave
  • Tweaked the signals for SOO SB before Oregon St.
  • Added speed signs to the Van Dyne Siding
  • Corrected traffic stopping for trains at the crossing just north of Van Dyne (both SOO and CNW)
  • Corrected traffic stopping for trains at the crossing just south of Van Dyne (wigwags) (both SOO and CNW)
  • Converted some of the SOO sidings south of Oshkosh to Yard Track Line Types.
  • Corrected EB traffic stopping for SOO trains at the crossing just north of NFDL (SOO WB and CNW EB/WB were working correctly)
  • Added missing speed sign on SOO SB entering West siding on north side of Shops yard
  • Adjusted speed limit through Shops Yard on the SOO main (both tracks)

Additional Observations
  • Need more grass scenery south of 18th Ave (SOO)
  • Should fix the CNW track alignment at Tower CF

This update was mostly for bug fixes, with the exception of adding some traffic overlay for crossings in Oshkosh (Irving CNW/SOO, Parkway CNW/SOO, Merritt (CNW), Church (SOO) and adding some additional scenery around Morgans.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed several crossings where the signals were telling the roads to stop for trains rather than the traffic overlaying the roads. All signals along the CNW Oshkosh North Branch, the Milwaukee Road tracks, and along the SOO/CNW mainlines between Tower CF and Ripple Rd have been tested and/or fixed.
  • Signal heads and dwarf signals from the NYNH Springfield route seem to have become non-functional, possibly due to the TSC updates on 4/27/2023. As a workaround, I have replaced all dwarf signals in the CNW Oshkosh yard with dwarf signals from either Stevens Pass or from Kuju. I added dwarf signals to both SOO and CNW SL head signals in North Fond du Lac.
  • Fixed issue along the CNW Oshkosh North branch where speed limits would unexpectedly change along the mainline to the speeds of the connecting tracks.
  • Fixed issue of unannounced speed changes along the CNW Oshkosh North branch by adding speed signs entering and exiting several of the tracks. Many of these speed signs are hidden from visual view.
