the dangeresque is only for demoman and hasn't been legitimately obtainable for years, and you have to go out of your way to secure a means to unlock them, whereas this is wearable by the eight other classes. That on its own constitutes a reason to produce them
I find it absolutely hard to believe that you genuinely think the same type of item on 2 different classes constitutes a problem, you'd have your work cut out for you pointing out all the different times that's happened in tf2's lifespan. It's a totally manufactured reason to moan in workshop comments
Usually when I see an era-breaking cosmetic, I can at least say "well, at-least it's original." This isn't even that. I really try not to be overly negative with my comments, I know you guys work hard on these cosmetics, but I'm have a great deal of difficulty coming up with anything positive to say about these things...
Perhaps if you put tinted glass between the shutters, so it looked closer to something Macho Man would wear? Or tried to make them look like they belonged in the 60s by shaping them like those big round sunglasses that were popular at the time? Just... give me SOMETHING positive to say!
Yes, I know it's all-class, but I feel like you could've put in a LITTLE more creativity... couple it with a hat or something, maybe? You had options that you quite intentionally did not take, is what I'm saying.
outside of the obvious offenders (pink and lime of course) I think this item does a much better job fitting the palette with most paint options
I want to make clear that this is a well-made little cosmetic that fits the game nicely and that I wouldn't mind having it in game. But, I also think that it's a little unoriginal given that this kind of cosmetic already exists (although it is limited, both in availability and in classes able to wear it.
You make lots of good stuff (I really love the most recent war paint you've made and I can tell you put a lot of work into it) and I don't want to discredit your work. I hope you make more awesome stuff. I don't want to come off as angry or offended.
I'd say give this something more than just "The Dangeresque, but for everyone/paintable." Maybe different styles, with the bars aligned vertically rather than horizontally, and a proper late 70s/Early 80s party set to go with it.
It's the exact same concept.
Pretty unoriginal, if you asked me.
other than that, panning time
Besides. these have much better detail than Dangeresque Too? in my opinon too.
In all fairness, they do look very similar. The only difference being that these are all class.
I wouldn't be upset if this was added though, not by a long shot.
You could say the team colors are too unsaturated, or it's a lot of busy detail, just going "it's the same thing you stole it" is just not true when the item practically doesn't exist anymore and the intention is to make an improved version
I'm sorry but no, Yikes had every right to block him, because he really wasn't providing anything of value in terms of an indepth critique besides being needlessly mean-spirited to us.
It's fine not to like something - we're not making items that tailors towards everyone's personal tastes and desires - but when you act out towards content creators in a needlessly hostile way, you shouldn't be shocked if you get blocked.
