And that still might have been fine, a bit of a disappointment but an ignorable one, but this mod also broke the fusion reactors. If they ever try running without fuel loaded up they BREAK and refuse to produce power ever again. You need to destroy and rebuild the reactor. And that's just intolerable. (which, why is a fusion reactor asking for nuclear fuel anyway? If it takes ANY fuel it should be water. Still, minor issue compared to the broken building.)
Yeah, as much as I love this in concept, the nuclear material and fuel production is way too low for its consumption speed. One nuclear reactor consumed ALL the fuel I could produce from one mine and one fuel lab. And the reactor itself is a travesty, why does it go through fuel so fast and for what measly little 20 power? It's nuclear energy, not coal, it should take multiple days per fuel unit and produce way more power, like 100 power. That balances it with the fusion reactors and might actually make it worth the slow-as-heck production volume.
I really like the concept of this mod, but...
I do wish that the mod would not replace normal Fuel used by landers. I think it makes more sense for rockets and such to continue using a regular fuel (such as Hydrogen) than to suddenly use processed nuclear waste in nuclear-powered rocket engines.
1. The Nuclear Refineries have a STUPID low output
2. it changes a lot of resource requirements to require Nuclear fuel, Not horrible but combined with #1 really bad
3. The fusion Energy Generators were changed to require Nuclear fuel, again not too bad, but with #1 sucks as it burns too much fuel, and if it runs out your generator stops producing until you destroy/refab and then rebuild it ...this is the Killer, it makes using these generators impossible!
4. There are deposits underground, you can not mine them as the Miners don't work underground
5. You have a Nuclear waste build, but it only gets rid of the stuff you mine, which you need to make fuel, there is no "waste" material
All in all, I love the idea, but this mod was not completely thought out, or put together
1, I can't seem how to do the revenue with the despoil, looks like it only gets rid of the radioactive material, which is needed to build Nuclear Fuel
2. I think there needs to be a 3rd resource, which would make since to facilitate trade/disposal...radioactive waste...and anything nuclear generates its
3. the above then leads into other nuclear items
4. I think Battery and Fusion reactor needs usage adjustments, and/or Lab Out put needs to be Upped...Honestly, I don't like the need for the Fusion Reactor, and the batteries to use the Nuclear fuel, should have been a new electric generator to go wtih, as now, I don't have a sustainable energy producer with out GOBs of radio active material and GOBS for nuclear fuel!
Beyond that, this is a great idea and a great mod!
Deposits are generated in the caves, but you can't build the extractor building to get them.
BTW ain't the nuclear fuel production too slow?
I was unable to solve it yet I hope the line ChoGGi spotted regarding "IsStoring" may be a source of it.

At least I got 51 turn of game play before this one crapped out! :)

I added this mod, along with the meat and booze, and now I am getting a hang pretty often. Sometimes the screen freezes entirely, but today it froze and I could still scroll around the map but nothing else responded.
Also - I am seeing my drones stuck at the Dynamic Depot...
Are we aware of any issues?

I have Played with all Sektors scanned at the beginning.
Wenn you scann the Sectors by your own, the deposites will spawn
A other Thing is, that there are deposites in the underground, but you cant build the radioaktive-Extraktor there
Just send them to me instead using a file sharing service or something
The game didnt break, there are just no deposites at the surface.
What do you mean with "log" if you dont mean a crash-report or so?
I start a few times a new game, but there are no deposites, but maybe it collides with other mods.
By making production of nuclear fuel more difficult I think it will still be more costly to produce energy by using it, it will take more energy to produce it so the net energy output will be still low...but it can be tuned as I said. Radioactives/nucler fuel are pretty cheap also when brought in from Earth imo.
Adding radioactive waste I think will complicate things to much making the whole radioactives chain much more complicated than other production chains and I don't want to steal all the focus. Radioactive materials could be seen as both primary extracted ore and Earth's waste, both needing to be enriched to obtain fuel or being disposed of.
Yeah, the Game shoudnt be Easier, but maybe you can make the Produktion of Nuklear Fuel more Difficult and that you need more Energie for it.
Than you can improve the Energieoutput of the Reaktors and lowest the need of fuel
So that the Reaktors are useful to "safe" Energy for long periods of less Energie maybe?
Maybe there can be also a useage as Heat-Generator for Coldwaves, which need no water?
If you want to make it difficult you can also let the reaktors produce Waste, witch ist complikated to buried it?
The Thing is, that at the Moment, there is no Reason to Build the Reaktor, because Solar an Wind are Cheaper and Easier.
Thanks for the comment. Balancing such mod is one of the trickiest part so (everyone) please free to suggest such changes but please keep in mind that my goal is not to make the game easier.
there are no Deposite-Spawns at the Surface, whiche make it difficult to use nuklearpower in eary or midgame.
And for my oppinion the reaktor produce not enough Energy and need to much fuel
At the moment Solar and Wind are better to use.
But I realy like such a mod with new Ressources an Nuklear Power, which need fuel, not like the fusions-Power-plants in the vannila-game
