@ Masterwolf164, in order to get this shtyle (this shtyle is called 'overgrown shtyle') you have to use hammer map editor. you can also used beemod which will give sort of a similar shtoyle.

Very nice visuals. Unfortunately visuals alone don't make a good map. The test was too short and too easy. Going to have to give a thumbs down like I give any map that I finish in less than 3 mins.

I've noticed this too, when I use two styles(or items from different styles that aren't the generic item) when generating the same chamber, it'll switch up the textures. Other than that, I have no solution, try someone else.

Joey, LAST question; when I use the Overgrown style, the wall textures(EXCLUDING elevator doors) aren't the Overgrown style, but everything else is. SORRY IF I'M BOTHERING YOU WITH MY DUMBASS QUESTIONS, I'M SOMETIMES LIKE THAT. :(

The ceiling hole with plants is an item called "Ceiling Light", and that is what it looks like in the Overgrown style.

Easy and quick, but made interesting by the theme. Thumbs up!

Maybe you'd like to play my all-Hammer map: " Interface (Hammer Version) ". It is based on a very neat puzzle by Brave and can be played at multiple difficulty levels (the original was quite tricky). You can tour the observation rooms and there are training chambers if you still have trouble figuring out the puzzle. Leave yourself some time to play it as it is quite large and complex.

Those errors are because whoever designed the theme accidently created a "leak", or hole, in one of the items to the outside of the map. If you use the noclip console command to look outside, you can see the white or black expanse outside of your map. The map builder doesn't like this area to be visible without noclip, so it throws an error. See the Valve Developer Wiki article on leaks to know more.

Oracle, try verifying your Portal 2 cache. I also kept getting an error before I could post this map. What I did was I deleted the BEE2 and StyleChanger mod, and all the BEE2 addons I have installed, verifyed my Portal 2 cahce, then reinstalled everything. Once that was done, I could publish this map without the "Cannot build test chamber" error. Keep in mind some items may cause an error in certain styles, such as Angled Panels in the Art Therapy style. The reasons that I have for these random "cannot build test chamber" errors are unknown.

I have a problem, whenever I try to use any new stuff from the addon, it makes a map error, I put the 2 folders in portal2_dlc2 and it shows up on the palette/style chooser; HELP!?

The file has a readme to install, bascially you extract it into your Portal_2_dlc_2 folder, and then go to the BEE2 Pallete Interface, and switch to Overgrown style form there.

LOLZ OF DOOM, do you have Teamspen210's BEE2 addon installed? His addon includes the Overgrown style. When installed, it allows the Overgrown style to be chosen from the BEE2 pallete interface.

If the player goes into the room without the cube, and places both of their portals onto the wall, the player would have no way out without the use of the glass panel. The flipped panel near the exit is only active when the weighted button is pushed, without the cube, it is inaccessible.

Appreciate the comments - The glass panel is a foolproof in case the player is stuck, it's not part of the test itself, but could be used if need be. It's a small test that shows the functionality of the Overgrown style, and I created it using the same type of mind as the beginning Overgrown maps in the single player campaign, giving it a simple yet rewarding solution.

One of the simpler maps using this theme. Agree with K.A; this pedestal button must be a rescue. The test itself was all laser and fetch work; I was expecting more wandering around the ruins. It's an OK chamber though...
