Anyway, I stopped doing PZ modding quite a long time ago, but I might update the mod globally someday. :deadrat:

@dylan , хорошая идея, но я уже не так много играю в PZ, как раньше, да и про моддинг многое позабыл, так что боюсь как минимум в ближайшее время — нет. Но реализовать такое несложно.

А возможно ли сделать версию без стены, но с водоразделом и парой разрушенных мостов через него, чтобы более логичнее и лорно выглядело.

@Ревенант✟ , стена практически полностью убирает возможность покинуть и / или попасть в Луисвилл. Её можно использовать чтобы заблокировать достаточно богатое место с ресурсами, если есть такая нужда, либо в челленджах, когда команда хочет выживать только в приделах этого города, например.

@Wanillan , спасибо! Значит он ещё работает. Некоторые пишут что у них не устанавливается, а сам в Зомбоид давно не играл уже и не могу проверить.

Is the wall destructible by a sledge hammer? If so, can you please make it indestructable? We are trying to make a challenge where we have to build stairs and sheetrope to escape but one of my friends wants to break the wall down. I am a wall worshipper and I cannot have this unholiness.

@ShuraX , yes you can. That's why I made the wall as high as possible - otherwise it would be easy to climb over it. However, even with a height of 9 floors, it is still possible to climb over it.

This was a great idea for a mod. I can think of all kinds of ways to utilize something like this. Someone mentioned using the Yacht Club mod, you could also use one of those Louisville PvP zone mods for a city-wide THUNDER DOME!!

Nice addition to the Zomboid workshop. I like it.

@The Watcher , uhm, you mean, all of Louisville? The mod only changes one "line" of chunks, and only those along the Louisville entrance. It's actually very hard to say why this could happen, so at least accept my apologies if this happened because of my mod.

This is an interesting idea for a MP server. Combined with other mods like the Yacht / Boats mods, it would ensure players either had to beg for a ride in or out, or come up with a way to survive stuck in an exclusion zone.

hey ney add me as a friend on steam, we can PM and set up a time to call. I see the issue. you're hosting a local steam server and i'm hosting a dedicated server. they use the same .ini file but the the host menu for steam servers is just a pretty UI to access the features of the .ini file. .ini contains all of the server initialization commands such as which maps and mods are loaded when the server starts or restarts. In the past i have added map mods in the way described below, using that ini file. in fact that is how i add every mod i'm running. I think i have an idea to fix the issue based on this.

@spids Hi again. I didn’t quite understand what you need, but if you are asking about installing a mod: in order for the mod to work, you just need to select it in the mods section. Everything else does not need to be changed. When I tested it on my server, everything worked. I myself have never climbed into the .ini files of Zomboid, so I can’t tell anything about them. If you still need answers or help, I can help via stream, as you suggested. And we live in different time zones, so we need to agree on the time if you still need help through the stream. I live in the GMT+3 zone.

thank you Ney. I'm really asking about the server .ini file. when i add the map to the Map= section, how exactly should it be written? is this needed or should the mod work on its own?

@spids Using the spawn that the mod adds is not necessary, it will just spawn you near the wall. In any case, if the mod works correctly, the wall should appear. Not sure what could be the problem when reloading the world; The order in which the mod is installed shouldn't matter unless there are other mods that change the map from 41x15 to 51x15 (you can use the interactive zomboid map to find out where it is). You can ask any questions, I will try to answer as soon as possible.

been trying for about an hour to get this loaded in correctly. let me know if there is a specific load order or some other thing im missing. The mod installed just fine onto the server but the map doesnt load when the world is reset. ty again
