Updated for baseline 6.1 - no obvious changes were needed after some testing; mainly forcing the Mod Manager to change from the warning icon to the green checkmark icon instead

Aye I think that one basically met the needs for "disable the real time building mechanic", so nobody else felt the need to double up :WHII_Death:

Definitely feeling the need for it now! (FYI I don't delete mods for this very reason)

No luck on my current machine, unfortunately. I'll see if I can dig it up by some other means.

I'm shocked that there aren't more mods out there that do the same or a similar thing.

Aww bummer, I loved that one! :er_sad: I'll see if I can replicate it when I get a spare moment, but I don't have a copy of their mod anymore, so I'd have to do it from scratch

Yes! Just like that. 185 is far to short honestly since with buffs some units like wood elves would be able to out range them. Maybe something like 225? I don't mind them being able to shoot into the deployment zone, but when they can out range some siege equipment it's a little ridiculous.

I don't know much else about what they're changing internally in that other mod, but I can give it a go if we're looking for a happy medium between the current Wall Tower range (350) and that one (185)

They also don't mention modifying Minimum Range or Calibration Distance, which are both pretty important based on my playtesting

Any chance you could make a reduced wall tower range mod? Maybe down to 200? As it stands towers can shoot you in the back of a deployment zone on some maps.

Fixed! Thanks for pointing that out, I totally missed that on my battle tests. Just uploaded a new version that separates the shared database values between Wall Towers and Buildable Towers (they had shared projectiles, but now are separate)

It does seem that this mod conflicts with the Logichammer Projectiles mod. So everything is working fine.

D'oh still can't seem to re-create the issue you're seeing... Enabled only this mod and saw 150 range on buildable towers with Empire as defenders on the Nuln and Altdorf maps :winter2019surprisedyul: any other info/hints you can provide?

I'm playing as the Golden Order (Empire), the only other mod to change towers is "No real time building".

That's odd, I tested all the races myself in battles to ensure their ranges were updated! Which race on defense still had the 350 range? Any other mods installed that modify buildable towers?

Seems to only work on enemy towers. My towers are still 350 range in campaign.
