Nope, just a tricky fling. Shoot one portal on the floor by the button, then the other portal high up on the wall across the goo. Replace the second portal onto the floor while you fall.

I can't see any way that this could be solved without co-op, but I'm guessing I there's something hidden somewhere.

Fixed.

It's strange. When I playtested the map myself, I could respawn the cube fine. I guess I just messed with the button settings afterwards and didn't notice.

Just payed it again to break it tossing the cube over the fizzler but I found a very big flaw. There is NO way of respawning a cube when it's killed, it doesn't autorespawn and the button can only be pressed once....
Thought you might wanted to know so you can fix it :)

Is the objective to redirect the light bridge not just from the bottom of the portal but also the top? Both redirect modes I found are needed to solve.

If I solved it the way you intended, it is a decent "training" map. Try Mevious's Islands .
