@R.A.I.N.: I am glad to hear that you enjoy my boyz! But no, there is no plan for such a unit. The 'Dark Land Big 'Uns' are a high entity unit. Making even another unit with high entity number and heavy armour would not really make sense from a gameplay perspective. I was thinking about changing the 'Dark Land Bulwarkz' to a 60 entity unit but this would now also be obsolete with the vanilla shielded Black Orcs.

I have been using your mods for a long time now and I cannot play without the dark land orcs mod anymore, just not possible since it is sooo good. I happen to like heavily armored troops A LOT and the ROR Version of your dark land bulwarks and the Bonepilla Champions are extremely well made and exactly fullfill my need for an epic, big, heavily armored unit. It just would be sooo epic if a unit with the same size as Big Uns would exist, so like 100-120 models. There is no chance/plans for you to do something like this in the future? I dont know how to mod myself unfortunately, but a just a unit of Bonepilla Champions or the ROR of your bulwarks with slightly reduced stats and more Models would be awesome! I can ofcourse understand if you dont have any plans on including such a unit, thank you very much for answering though and have a great time :)

Updated! – Todays patch 5.2 introduced major changes to the ‘cdir_military_generator_unit_qualities_tables’ as well as slight changes to the ‘land_units_tables’. The mod was updated accordingly.

@BigBadBob7070: Yes - the mod page says at the top 'Updated for 4.2'. Also, you can always check in the mod launcher if a mod has the green symbol next to it which implies that it is up-to-date. If you should run into some specific issues than just directly state them here.

Hello, first of all, thank you for your work. Do you think it would be possible to make this mod compatible with Tabletop Caps - Rebalance so that the Bonepilla Championz is a unit considered rare and more difficult to obtain in the army?

Updated! - The animation issue should now be resolved!

@Kyrox: Thank you for taking a closer look and also the gif to showcase the issue. After 3.0 I only checked if their idle animations were played correctly, which was a mistake.

Hello. I was trying this mod out today. I loaded in some Bonepillas to the skirmish to check them out. For some reason, I have units that are spamming animations and seem to be animation locked. I created a gif here of the issue:

Updated! - The recent patch 3.0 added some new columns to specific tables. I just updated the tables but it actually has no changes for the mod itself.

@Nanio: I stopped making SUBMODS. I am still working on normal mods, don't you worry. Currently I am working on my biggest mod so far which is another reason why I don't want to spend time with submods. There is no one I could point out directly to you. You can check out the workshop for people who upload many SFO submods or you ask in the SFO discord server like I suggested.

@Nanio: Sorry, as I said I am not planning to create submods for TW W3 anymore. One the one hand, I don't want to make the balancing or to do the maintance. On the other hand, there are other modders who took up that task and solely create submods and will get the balancing way better done. Please try to reach out to them or ask in the SFO discord server if someone is willing to make a submod.

this pretty balanced, they can overcome lower tier unit easily but still struggle against top tier unit, would be great if you add some mounted black orcs ( or just reskin existing orc cavalry) in the future

@Phoenix: Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I also realized that they are maybe a bit over the top. I might give them a slight nerf in the near future. I just tested them once against the Bloodletters RoR and they performed bad. So, I buffed them a bit - but seems I buffed them a bit too much.

They look and feel incredible, but they are also very, very strong. I wouldn't say unbalanced since they are intended to be an elite unit, but they pretty much perform like a unit of aspiring champions with 50% more models and a Gryobomber bomb with every single hammerswing. The Crowd Control and chaos this causes makes them almost untouchable in melee. Only real counter I found was gunpowder ranged (even thou they are a lot smaller then "similar" performing units and can quite easily hide in a unit of Black Orcs/Big Uns). I mean, fuck it, they are hella fun and the AI recruits them pretty much never. But if you wanted to balance them, maybe reduce the unit count (mirroring "similar" units like ACs or Gorgers) or reduce the AoE Dmg/Impact/Size? Might cut down on the fun factor thou. Or you could cut down on the tankyness, making it way more important to properly embed them. Lastly, maybe reduce their MA and dmg values a bit and give them frenzy instead? Seems fitting.
