yeeah it's an old document. I should probably remove it
also i turned all my other mods of just to be sure it was not conflicting and still same results for skaven aversion (haven't checked others if they also are incorrect)
Are you playing a 5.0 campaign? Which LL? 5.0.1 has indeed dropped today but it doesn't have to do with anything, was a Prologue (wow, how relecant CA!) softlock bug they hotfixes
Took me AGES to narrow down. I fear modder Inq will be like "sure homie, like if I wouldn't notice if my mod does weird $hit just with Mixer + MCT. Ofc we'd all miss that - maybe you shouldn'tr inhale that bong so deeply...." but let's see. HAHA
The mod is updated for 5.0. did a new patch get released since then?
But as it occured 1-2 days before the 5.0 release, I guess someone has to ask...
(I was a good boy and checked comments, description and changelog! I swear!)
I assume this mod will make no problems when acticated in aa new 5.0 campaign, so at the very least it's 'playable' with 5.0, is that correct? Thank you and sry if i miss smth obvious....
Tweaked a lot of the technologies that I edited before.
Read change notes for more info
I will update when I have the time.
Also I game very hard/very hard too. Makes it a bit less likely
Interesting, I might have to add a +10 affection within bretonnians. They are very united after all. But funny at the same time to see some unusual infighting.
sooo dont mess with dwarrfs? g
bit further with Franz campaign.... I can see bit more wars between order factions which feels more interesting and less straight forward "good against evil" at least at turn 20 now.
Averland against Borderprinces (Grenzgrafen in german)
Balthasar G. against surrounding dwarfs and wood elves (poor bastard)
Kislev against everyone bordering them, more ore less (also Talabecland and Ostland before they where only in war with Ostland if I´m right)
Most Bretons are at war with Aquitaine (the faction that owns Bordelaux now....) not sure if this is vanilla or your mod??
my non aggression pact with Durthu is in danger now g so confederation with Gelt has to happen soon...
cause of the war declaration thing... now idea how many 1000 gold I got for joining war and going to peace again without a single fight... thats milking on another level cause of the huge amount of factions g..... just Info for you as your mod isnt affecting this Vanilla milking
This is my overall WH3 IO experience (which I still love). With your mod the difference at the first 10 turns was that I got a trade agreement with Karak Eight Peaks, so no critique at all on your mod just something I wasnt able to get in my forgoing campaigns with Franz.
If you want expand on my thoughts , ... for player joining wars and get money for it is too easy even if jou never meet the faction in battle that offered to go to war with.
I swear I want/try to explain better but sometimes I´m struggeling as english is not my main :-)
probably a bit too early... but what I see is, that declaring war doesnt have enough impact in therms of relations with befriended factions of the attacked faction (specially to the same race/culture as the defender)............ If I attack as empire bastonne f.e. the diplomatic relations towards other bretonnian factions get only minor negative impact, or no impact, so I dont have to care too much about declaring war except they had defensive/military alliance.
If the diplomatic impact would have more weight so you are in danger pulling more wars if attacking, the player would have to be more careful / get diplomatic agreements first (regarding to my example above)
but this is tricky as there is soo much to take into account (starting foe, what if you attack a factio of your own culture, quests...
In WH3 aversions are 3 tiers: -10, -40, -100. Also a lot of good factions see "evil" factions with twice the amount of negative attitude towards bad diplomatic events.
This has the problem that wars will trigger quickly and a lot of factions are guarenteed to be at war with one another without complexity. For example, Cathay and Skaven should have an odd relation with one another (in my book). Currently, Clan esshin has it rough with -100 relations with cathay without this mod.
I am still working to improve this mod, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
so far I dont feel to many differences the first 10 rounds (playing with Franz) except I could get a trade agreement with dwarfs (highking) at turn 1 for offerig joining war with their first foe.(that wasnt possible before)
as you said :-) your changes make more sense
whoo sounds interesting, was reading the explanations under diskussion.... you are right everything diplomacy wise seemed so easy...thxvm
Are you going to bring over your "War Mammoths for WoC" mod from 2?
Man I hope so :)
Ty steam. Really making my life easier right now.
Truth be told, my documentation doesn't fit in a discussion forum. So I have to make a google drive. Yeah, those again. Sry
