it should conflict with other mod. but i can't find that. i enable 160+ mods.too many . as you know ,which type it will conflict with? i tested expanded hero skills&magic of lord&double points&legernary lord enhanced etc.

@Oscar He should be unlocking them automatically at the right level. Do you use any other mods, that might change the Skilltree etc.?

I wanted to test the mod and leveld up Kroak to rank 50, played a battle and waited a turn, but I wasn´t able to figure out how to get his special traits

I am sorry for the delayed response, everyday life was/is a little busy at the moment.

Hey great mod, I was wondering if anyone can help me get the commands to spawn Lord Kroak via the console?

I have tried spawn, agent, to_pool, but maybe because I am not entering the agent sub type and type keys correctly, it does not work as intended?

If anyone can help with this, I'd really appreciate it :)

Man this mod is great. I've done some modding myself and have some suggestions.
For now the mod is pretty OP, to the point that even a confederated chaos invasion can't really do much against Kroak. Perhaps nerfing his damage dealing abilities just a bit would actually make this mod fit the taste of even more people, not just a small niche.

I think adding a barrier effect to the "Aura of the Old Ones" would be appropriate, giving Kroak a shield which also protects from melee, since he is otherwise quite fragile in melee.

And finally, I think it would actually be very lore-friendly and a fun game mechanic if "True Deliverance of Itza" actually resulted in Kroak being wounded in battle in exchange for it being extremely powerful and guaranteed to succeed with no miscast. Yes, Kroak would be wounded for like a turn or two, but you could actually "deliver" a desperate situation.

@Ingo Thanks, I appreciate the kind words and awards, I am pleasantly surprised by the number of people who appear to use/enjoy this little project, considering that I thought it to be a "niche interest".
As for other mods, I have two or three more ideas I would like to implement here, which I put off so far, since they exceed my current knowledge/ skill when it comes to modding.
Once those are done, I would consider this mod conceptually "finished", though still in need of some housekeeping and polishing.
Since my time for projects like this is rather limited to semester breaks, it will probably be the end of the year, before I can start working on them in earnest. That being said (and long story short...) I am sure I will look for another passion-project afterwards, I´ll have to see where inspiration will lead me. :D

did you ever think about making a similar overpowered and fun mod for Settra? I really like his extraordinary and cool lore too. i would to see some crazy inferno Ptra magic for Settra xD :)

How do you unlock these new spells? I can see the new buff style skills following on from kroaks normal spell tree but none of the god tier spells.

@traa This version would likely clash with SFO due to maybe occupying he same slots in the Skilltree, especially with the expanded Itza-Kroak.
I do have a rough version that is meant to go with SFO, but it is a wip.
Some skills were inspired by WH2-SFO, intended to get me through the time before it was ported to WH3, some become redundant or push some values to where the surplus has no added bonus. But it is on the agenda, when I have the time to do it.

@Yiunko No doubt, but being Kroak needs to have privileges above and beyond those tadpoles of the younger Generations. :D

@joshwiz23 I presume it could be possible, though that should come from the original creator. If I remember correctly, that mod also has a custom model and I have no idea what work would be needed to make it compatible with WH3.

Since the last couple of months were rather busy, there wasn´t much time for tinkering with the game, or playing it for that matter, so only a small update with things I was able to throw together rather quickly.

@Tridon Sadly That is unfortunate, sorry. Sadly, I don´t really have an idea, on what change the possibility hinges, but if you found a solution in the meantime I would be willing to try to implement it.

@Archdeacon Monseigneur I would like to give him a boost, but for the time being, I saw there a some mods out there now, that give him a little more flavour, including his changes in SFO.

@Dragonlord Tux When I get the chance, I will try to keep working on it.

@Rannic64 Balance is a fickle ongoing process, when it comes to a mod that tries to represent a being with almost godlike powers, without breaking the game completely and sucking any and all fun out of it. I am open to suggestions. :D

this mod makes mazdamundi look like an amateur. could you make an overhaul for him as well please? he was shafted so hard by CA with his design, in that he is no different from other slann/legendary lords other than the ability to do the earthquake thingy :(

@Sophia On this I am of two minds, on the one hand, I like him as a hero, because it feels like he is too busy/important for mundane duties of a Lord on the other hand turning him into a LL and adding polished new model is extremely tempting.

If you did make him into a lord, I'd almost say, save it for after he's resurrected himself. Maybe find someone willing to batch together a neat model for it too. Give him a neat poison dart frog pattern or something while at it ♥

@Jairos Yes, actually my frist attempt did turn Kroak into a Lord, but for that to work I had to use a Warhammer II Mod as a template and I think the original Author is working on a WH III adaption. I would need to ask for permission first.

@Sophia I think I found most of the involved lines and scripts for the Ritual for the DPs, now I need to figure out how to rewrite and apply them. You are right, to continue, the best approach will be to ask for directions from the Old Ones at Da Modding Den.

I'm almost tempted to look into it myself, now that some groundwork has been layed for this concept, but all I've ever done is changing start units, change some stats, and tweak some rank unlocks in TWW2.

@Ciele To be fair, Kroak can't actually speak as a Relic Priest. Otherwise, intepreting the plaques for the Great Plan wouldn't be necessary, as the first Generation Slann made most if not all of them. Only way Kroak can communicate is through Ten-zlati and by doing weird stuff to his surroundings with magic.

@Sophia I still have hope, that while I fumble and try to staple together a Frankenstein-mod, some of the actually talented people in this community figure it out in a fraction of the time. Here's hoping!

@joshwiz23 Good idea, I will take some better pictures once the details are somewhat finalized.

@Hive Mind I converted/ported a WHII-Mod for some custom spells for Mazdamundi, but since it is the work of another mod-author, I will have to see if it gets updated.
It is called "Mazdamundi Geomantic spells", I changed some values and one animation for personal taste, but the conversion to WH III is fairly easy even for an absolute beginner.
And while I can´t but agree, Mazdamundi is in need of more "oomph" in his skilltree, I can´t promise that I have much time to work on a custom-skill/spell-line, since the end of the semester break is upon me.

If you take requests, can you overhall mazdamundi's spell tree? I feel like the most powerful 2nd generation slann needs better spells.
