I've been trying to get the updated version to work for days, because your mods are great. (loading them one at a time, rearranging load orders, validating game files, praying to Nagash etc)
I got them to work now. I closed steam fully, and i unsubscribed and deleted your mods, and then resubscribed and enabled them, and now it just works.
Thanks for the reply, and thanks for the great mods. Cant imagine playing VC without them now.
A thousand twisted blessings upon all modders!
I just tested it again and no CTD at all for me. There are 2 possible scenarios.
1. Your steam didn't download the updated mod file so it will be all right after restart steam.
2. Did you copy&paste the mod file to data folder before the update or did same thing by the mod manager? In that case, you need to do it again otherwise game still load the un-updated mod file so same CTD will be.
Ah, AI's perspective, that makes sense. Hmm... I still won't change the Gallow's income from 400, but gonna think about few more things for AI later.
I think 2.1 vampire count is very OP, especially the so high early game incomes, high tier units appearing on raise dead pool too quickly and crazy performance of zombies.
Defending settlement is very easy too on strategic level because of raise dead it self and very enlarged average raise dead pool by comparison with WH2. Just before enemy army attacks own settlement, recruit a lord and dozen of zombies and skeleton by raise dead, it'll be easy win for most case.
And I personally liked vampire count's late bloomer economy on WH2, even though I'm appreciated for repression building's income got greatly increased on WH3 too.
So that's the whole point why I decreased the early game incomes a bit(still tier 1 repression building's income is increased to 300 from 250 and tier 1 and 3's whole construction cost is reduced to 1750 from 2000) and greatly increased the incomes from advanced military buildings.
I respect CA's new garrison balance on IE campaign, but still personally think they will rebalance it soon. Because of that, I'm not updating my wh3 garrison mods and making a garrison mods for now. If 2.2 update doesn't change the garrison balance, then I'm gonna get start a things.
