I suggested it years ago for warhammer 1 to a modder and it it looked beautiful, im not sure if he used chaos mounts or normal empire mounts/bret but black with red eyes.
Thank you regardless!
I mainly used this as inspiration. https://www.coolminiornot.com/423014
Perhaps the sallet is a kitbash, since I can't seem to find another example of it, but regardless, I think it looks cool so I used it.
@Libra unless it uses its own custom headmesh, it should work with that mod
@trevorbergershank This only modifies the helmet variants of the blood knights. I want to make sure that this mod only changes that so that it maximizes compatibility. I've noticed the darker tint to the legs however, so maybe in the future I might see if I can tweak it a bit.
@BigBad I recommend setting unit detail to highest - so that all the variants can appear in game.
I've updated the mod up to the latest version - no changes have been made to the mod itself.
@BigBad Could you specify which helmet you are referring to - and if it's the Blood Knight unit you are using or the lord?
That bugged me too, so I tweaked the texture:

A bonus would be if you could fix so the lord doesn't have 2 swords when mounted on a dragon... anything but a lance on a dragon looks silly, I think. :)
@Total War-Hamster the texture issues are unfortunately due to the model I used being from WH1 Empire, which as is has very low-res textures ported over into WH3.
@Manfred, the Scarlet Terror The bloodline lord should just use the blood knight model, but I'll see if I can swap the helmets around.
@BatsNJokes Feel free to do whatever you want art-wise.
In regards to the Red Duke and other such, I like the way the red duke looks in vanilla and I'm pretty satisfied with the way this mod turned out.
like you mod anyway thx
