Personally I'd either boost the proc chance to maybe 20%-30% which would make it a lot more viable for light armor users, or increase the buff by an appreciable amount (maybe 250), which would make it more viable for all users. IMO, this would make it better than the vanilla perk without making it too much stronger.
From what I could determine any bonus to follower damage should now apply at 50% effectiveness when using War Party
I am pushing an update later today that allows War Party to give 50% of your authority stat to thralls. This should make it competitive with Well-Trained. Might be a little too much. We'll see how it fairs in the wild.
Without the +20 vitality and grit (which gives armor), the War Party thralls die much quicker. I considered adjusting their health and armor instead, but decided to go the more glass cannon approach as you can already just take zombie's for the meat shield approach.
You can use Better Thrall to more thrall follow.
And I agree to buff war party perk. But just for pet or undead. Because 2 human with full armour and weapon always stronger than all.
