I'm surprised you would even be getting the character to load in tbh, would need to create a compatibility to add the variantmeshedefinitions alongside my mod

It's a long process for sure. Just got to take it 1 step at a time
Need to try it out and see how it feels.
But this is something i think we all should pitch in some community-work on for both vanilla and modded factions.

Mixu slayer mod use that for the slayer hero to unlock certain skills: u kill a mamoth u get Rage ability for ur hero as a passive. Also when reaching max level the hero can pass into a Slayer lord with his custom skil line and keeps the traits he gaigned killing monsters. Might be that ?
Definitely wasn't from my mod. something likely changed in another mod that threw everything off
In regards to the character panel I havent figured out a way to make the character look on campaign change yet as it would require a change in the character art set through a script on the equip of mount (of which there is no way to do that I have found). So, at the moment, only the weapon is changing which gets placed onto the docking spot of the characters in the animation per weapon type if that character has said spot (hence the floating weapons of a few lords)
Chaos Robie is the original author of that mod. I'm not sure of his plans to port it to WH3 nor am I in a position to ask his permission for that at this time. I would like to get the weapon choices done in this mod before adding weapon w/ mount choices but they are are definitely planned for after the full release of the mod
I was thinking of adding some extra ranged weapons as well
Will likely add 2 more melee and 2 range alternatives next update
The AI will always use its last unlocked mount so since these are unlocked at lvl 2, any mounts unlocked at later lvls will be chosen by AI instead

Skill changes like that are technically possible but aren't within the scope of the mod and would be very difficult and finicky to implement
Should be but the reskin won't carry over to the alternate lords
Probably won't do dual blades as that will conflict with the assasins role
What would the modders be for then if it was base game? :D
